The chances of killing someone with just one punch is incredibly low, so low that no judge is going to think someone was trying to kill another. The few times a single punch have killed people happen in street fights where people fall on hard surfaces with no aid nearby.

Silva got knocked out in the middle of a boxing ring surrounded by a ton of people, including cutmen, some type of paramedic and a doctor (presumably). There was no follow up after he fell to the ground KO'd also.

I mean he took a huge haymaker to the back of the head, which sent him loopy, about 7 seconds before the actual KO blow.

Everyone involved should be embarrassed.

yeah that's a bit much. a post-fight brawl in the ring is never going to be viewed as attempted murder, not without some serious extenuating circumstances (like bringing a weapon in or something).

don't believe it. i've seen some wild videos that Brazilian law deemed lawful amounts of force even when the perpetrator had clearly given up and the citizen (oddly almost always a Brazilian off duty cop) keeps shooting the guy.
