Vettori vs this top 10

They all beat him tbh..

only one I can see him beating is romero because vettori seems durable enough to not get knocked out when romero throws his 2-3 strikes per round. Marvin prolly decisions him, but that’s about it.
 
TRT Vitor might nearly have been the GOAT, shows how good the Spider was

He beats Rockhold, Jacare, Kennedy, and Bisping for sure.

Weidman and Moose are a toss-up, Machida wins a boring decision most likely, Romero would be a banger of a fight not sure how it goes, Vitor not sure either I could see Vitor getting a TKO or getting grapple fucked.
Silva clowns him and probably cruises to a decision similar to Adesanya.

People hate on Vetorri because he's got 3 total brain cells, but he's tough as shit, has an amazing chin, is extremely well rounded, difficult to takedown/ hold down, and he's a huge MW.
Tough guy to beat. Even Adesanya has had a (relatively) tough time looking good against him.

Silva fought a Vitor who was tearing through competition (Lindlan, Franklin, Akiyama, Rumble, etc).

Tough guy to beat but you are also giving him more credit that he deserves imo.

He beat Rockolh, Jacare, Kenedy or Bisping "for sure" based on what? The only sure thing is that those guys in their prime would be Vettori's best win at 185 ever, in case he actualy won.

Who are the best wrestlers Marvin has faced?

I agree stylisticly those guy are a tought match up for wrestlers.
Prime Rockhold being the worse match up imo.

They were very tough match up for wrestler and all of them more credited wrestlers themselves than Vettori.

Im talking about their prime version of course, pre-2015.

The guys listed in the OP have almost all of them a case to be at least top10 greatest MWs of all-time.

Saying they could beat Vettori is not disrespecting Marvin. It's rather that some of you have heavy recency bias and very quickly discredit past greats.

Im not even sure odds would favour Vettori vs Brunson or Canonier today, let alone Whittaker and Adesanya, yet we have to assume Marvin should be favoured vs the row of killers listed in the OP before USADA came around

Yeah because it was true this image of the mw division wasn't when Anderson was champion it was after the strike force acquisition, you'll notice chael sonnen, yushin okami and Damien maia aren't on this list because they would all lose to everyone on this list. Trt Vitor is the only one that stayed but when know what happened when he lost the sauce

The post Strikeforce MW division is the best it has ever been. Vettori loses to all of them. he just isn't outstanding in any one area

We will also notice that Fitch, Koscheck, Alves, BJ, Serra, Hardy weren't in the rankings by 2014-2015 which is around the time of OP.

Strikeforce had a shit ton of good MW but their WW division was rather poor in comparison, most of them being already in the ufc.

Nate marquardt didn't win any ww fights when transfering over to the UFC.
Tarec Saffiedine was solid but didn't last long in the UFC as well.
Nick Diaz was competitive.
Woodley didn't hit his prime yet, eventually won the ufc gold.

Happy to educate.

That further prove my point given that even though Strikeforce had better top talent at MW, after SF acquisition Fitch, Koscheck, Alves, BJ, Serra or Hardy weren't ranked WWs by the of the list in OP.
