Zhang's legacy in particular is not immaculate considering she got KOd and then decisioned by Rose and never avenged any of those losses.

This looks good on paper but I'm having a hard time assessing where Valentina has a disadvantage.

Height, weight, standup, takedowns.. seems like she has the upper hand in every area. I think this is going to be an easy 49-46 for Valentina.

I think she's now physically strong enough and good on the ground to handle the worst case scenario of rasllermode-Val and force a proper fight out of her.

Most anticipated fight of 2025 for me (granted this 2025 has been a down year). Zhang is one of the most exciting fighters ever with at least 2 all time classic fights (vs Joanna and vs. Yan), Shevchenko could be the best woman ever to fight when it comes to skill. Could be a bit late but in my opinion that gives Zhang a better chance, as I think a prime Valentina can decision her without risking too much.

Zhang has never looked better. Both were slight underdogs in their respective previous fights and both secured a victory, although the dominance of Weili over Tatiana was quite surprising, especially on the ground. Valentina looked better in her last fit with Alexa (or more accurately, Alexa looked worse) than in her 2 previous fights with her.

I mean she's never looked better but she's also fighting people that aren't any better than the ones she beat before she lost to Rose, except Tatiana maybe.

I agree with this as well & it definitely is 100% accurate on paper , but I'm still not gonna count Weili out. Joanna had all the advantages on paper as well, but Weili beat tf outta her the first time & then finished her in the rematch. Weili is a dangerous chick & is well rounded too.
