Honestly? You can hold down a job and be an MMA fighter. You can't train for long periods of time anyways. It's tough but you can work a 9-5 and workout 6-10. It's brutal but doable. You will have no life outside of that.

Or train 7-10 take a monday off and on weekends do 2 x 2 hours.

Boby Green and Kevin Holland are setting themsleves up for life without being title contenders. Lewis made bank. Chael made a fortune. They aren't even champs. Fighting is a winner takes it all sport. You always should have a trade or education. Just making it to the UFC is never gonna be a lifetime of money.

He made them a lot of money, and if he was one of their guys in the early days when the sport needed exposure, he certainly would have been able to negotiate a slice of the pie, but he came way too late, on the cusp of the corporate era, where his existence in the sport only accelerated it's slipping into circus.
