Media UNPRECEDENTED moment for fighter rights: Mcgregor to give ownership stake to fighters; bashes the UFC for screwing him and fighters.

What? He’s the best promoter in the game hands down. He has a beautiful family with lovely kids, the guy is also rising on the political scene, owns a ton of business and wealth.

He wants to drink and party? Let him drink and party he’s loving life and living it up.
Do you know something about drugs ?

Why should talent show participants get to own the production company?

They should have real jobs lined up with insurance. A few minutes of entertainment every 6-12 months doesn't deserve a life of luxury.

Yes, that's all it takes to be a high level MMA fighter, a few minutes of your time a year. I'm surprised more people aren't taking MMA fights during their lunch breaks at their regular jobs?

He didn't say jack shit when he was fighting in the ufc and making $$$ - now suddenly he cares about fighter pay in the ufc.

The devil will be in details and not long from now we are going to hear how BK fighters who got ripped off because Conor didn't want to give a seat at the table.

I do hope he keeps his word.

All I gotta say is....hopefully Conor gets nominated for a noble peace prize at some point and time

This Epic Game Plan -- has a Francis meets GFL vibe.

Grand Opening Big Money - Big Dreams - Game Changer!...

Boxing. Like other UFC fighters who made more to box for one night, than they did in their UFC careers.
If Dana wasn't enthusiastic about the freak show UFC 1 was and talked his friends into buying it and worked into it for years before it made a dollar of profit than Conor wouldn't made his name there and get 100 mils to box. The UFC created Conor. Look at how much MMA leaped kickboxing.

Screwing him hahaha if it wasn't for the exposure the UFC gave him and even giving him an opportunity to begin with he would not be anywhere near where he is today unappreciative fuck

Maybe he does go broke.

The UFC gave him nothing - where did his houndreds of milions come from ?
Of course the company will go broke in due time.

Also yes, they didn't give him shares but they gave him enough money and fame to buy them

And I DO NOT defend the UFC business model, but this is the last fucking guy who should be complaining. He would also sell those shares if he ran out of coke/money so those are empty words.

Honestly? You can hold down a job and be an MMA fighter. You can't train for long periods of time anyways. It's tough but you can work a 9-5 and workout 6-10. It's brutal but doable. You will have no life outside of that.

Yeah, you can. But do we as fans of the sport want to to see a billion dollar company putting out fighters/Uber eats drivers as their showcase of the highest level of combat sports? It's the definition of a bush league when pro-athletes have to work day jobs beyond their trained sport.

Conor was the cow, at his height UFC greatly benefitted from him
They both benefitted from each other. It's not like Connor started in the UFC. He was fighting for 4 years before he entered the UFC and never got as popular as he was until he entered the UFC. I get it, it's cool to hate the UFC but you don't have to be delusional about the fact that the UFC helped him get to where he is now. Is it so hard to admit that the UFC screws over fighters but has also made a lot of fighters rich?
