UFC protected and made chama

He got fast-tracked, but we can't say he is a fraud, guy is a very good fighter and extremely talented.

Do you actually still think this era or the previous one is/was any good?

Im only asking to see what kind of stupid answer you'll type
we all know its not good
but the pattern of fighters pereira fought from day 1
dont be stupid title says it all

and look when dricus was entering the top 5 pereira fled to LHW

Maybe he was fast-tracked to a title, and maybe he had some favorable matchups, but he still had to beat Blachowicz, Strickland, Adesanya, Prochazka, and Hill in a cage, by himself, with no help from the UFC…

Not many people could have done that…

Lol plenty of people could likely do that if handed favorable matchups and title shots off of knock out loses. That's why rankings and fights matter.

Can’t deny Chama’s history with Aresanya got him an easier path to a title shot, but I enjoyed his run. Tko’d Adesanya, got slept in the rematch. You’d think his career was basically over. Wrong. Gotta love Chama for entertaining us.

You preferred the fight on Saturday to all the KOs then I take it

I’m shocked that a fighting promotion would try and set up exciting fights
So you want the sport to be semi-scripted like pro-wrestling?

can you show me the stats?
show me some gifs where pereira is beating ankalaev

and explain to me how he beat ankalaev

almost half is not half

I never said Pereira won, merely pointing out some people, not just bitter Pereira fans on Sherdog, thought he did.

11 for Ank
9 for Pereira
1 draw

He lost a close decision many think he still won. He went 100% on TDD and scored the only TD of the night against the dude everybody said would badly outgrapple him.

If anything he ran into the Jon Jones problem of focusing too hard on a lagging skill set to the point that his dominant one that was the key to his success suffered. Defending TDs and grappling is great, but you've got to remember they're there to reset you back to knocking the dudes head off. They're not a game plan in and of themselves.

And again, he was the oldest champion in the UFC. We're lucky we've had him as long as we have.

They did give him the ball, but this motherfucker RAN with that shit.

It's not his fault he's an awesome kickboxer and the div just doesnt have many grapplers.

I truly get why UFC did that, and why fans love him. They would do it all over again. That's what promotions do.

However what his fans got to realize is Ankalaev was beating him on the feet before he ever started going for takedowns. Just by teasing it, as well as his hand traps. It's MMA you have to deal with it.

If this was a kickboxing fight w boxing gloves, Alex would win, but who gives a fuck about that?

This is MMA. Ank is the better MMA fighter. Praise him. Owlsquad all up in ya shit.

Let's not pretend MW was filled with grapplers that aren't dogshit. For once, a non-dagestani fighter got the dagi treatment in a division! He got to fight a top ranked guy without deserving it (Strickland #4) and then got pushed to a title shot.
<36>
Retard really hating on one of the most active champions we've had in a while after he had a close decision with Ank.

Your stupid if you think it's not obvious. Clearly you don't since you made this silly thread about it

wtf people said the same retarded thing that Khabib fled the UFC cause Charlie Olives was climbing the rankings. Don't be that guy.
