UFC on espn 66 underdog pick of the night

Dalby

I was looking at this card earlier, and was like damn I thought a bunch of these guys were retired or cut

Thx man
I really need to think who could pull an upset on this one

Im foresee myself going 2-1 this week hahaha

My pick this week is Jimmy Flick

Matt Schnell being 1-4 on his last 4 and being 35 makes him impossible to be a -295 favourite to me. The fact he was finished on all of those fights also doesn't help. Dude seems to be shot and on the verge of retirement. Flick isn't so much far from him but due to Schnell's mileage (and the fact he has been finished so many times on his career), i'll take Flick ML (probably a finish tbh).

Yeah this is a tough card for you. You did well going 2-0 so far, lots of people picked last card, not many picked right.
I have been impressed by Flick. Sure he’s a garbage striker but the guy has game. Schnell is dangerous but he is nearing the end of his career.

Prates 100%, should be favorite

Based on what? Garry has fought far better competition and hasn't really shown any weaknesses. It'll be close the first few rounds, then the cigarettes will catch up to him and Ian will take over in the championship rounds.

Almost every card an underdog beats the odds. Who do you think is most likely this card?
  • Ian Machado Garry -135 vs. Carlos Prates +115
  • Zhang Mingyang -550 vs. Anthony Smith +375
  • Giga Chikadze +150 vs. David Onama -180
  • Abus Magomedov +130 vs. Michel Pereira -155
  • Randy Brown -235 vs. Nicolas Dalby +190
  • Ikram Aliskerov -725 vs. Andre Muniz +450
  • Jimmy Flick +235 vs. Matt Schnell -290
  • John Castaneda +110 vs. Chris Gutierrez -130
  • Heili Alateng +290 vs. Da'Mon Blackshear -390
  • Cameron Saaiman -110 vs. Malcolm Wellmaker -110
  • Jaqueline Amorim -650 vs. Polyana Viana +425
  • Timmy Cuamba +100 vs. Roberto Romero -120
  • Chelsea Chandler +225 vs. Joselyne Edwards -275
  • Evan Elder -260 vs. Gauge Young +210
My last pick of Chandler got smashed giving me a current record of 6-7. This card I’m going with Giga Chikadze. This was a tough one for me, I had an eye on a couple others who flipped odds or went to a coin flip.

Shoutout to last cards winners. @Necrocrawler @RockyLockridge as the only winners on a rough night for pickers. Catch up shoutouts for ufc 313 @rollthedice @Jinx_AA @WoozyFailGuy @TheTickG @RoseHDCovington @TCE @fujitsugroundnpound @AJ Garcia

Love these threads man!

On a side note, this colossal 14 fight card starts at 6pm EST?!

Da fuck!?

That's horrifically late!

I'm just gonna pick one this time because I don't think I have to do any other home work if this pays off.

Anthony Smith to submit Mingyang Zhang by R1Sub.

Thanks!
And yeah I didn’t realize that, I rarely watch live anyways besides ppv

I love the pick. I vaguely considered it myself but I knew I was picking too much with my heart. Smith does have a reasonable chance though and I love the guy!

I'm going on the fact that Zhang is the epitome of a can crusher, and generally picking against them in favour of a vaguely competent fighter works at this level.

My favourite pick of this kind was picking Waldo over Despaigne.

I was among the 8 % on Tapology that just weren't buying the Robelis hype nonsense lol

Same with Zhang. Dude is sloppy and kinda terrible, but has immense power, so just like Despaigne, he's going to be live until he's not especially with Smith now being on the verge of retirement.

And smith is tough. No one finishes him in the first.

Well...
2-1 now haha
Abus was the real pick this week but i didn't really went up into the possibility
I guess I was too blind for Pereiras performances

Up to the next week
