I got this idea for a future event. We call it "Royal Rumble". Basically everyone can play but as soon as you get a pick wrong (just the winner) you're out. Last man standing wins. So total wouldn't even matter for this event, lose a fight, you're out.

@KDR by RNC did indeed make himself look smart this weekend. That was a tough competition.
And that 8th round effort by GTD was the highlight

as soon as you get a pick wrong (just the winner) you're out.

Does that mean if [Bum B.] beats [Bum A.] by controversial split decision in [fight that has no relevance except to start the early prelims], everyone who picked [Bum A.] has already lost?

If so, that seems like a strange idea and would require an overwhelming emphasis on early fights.

The beauty of Royal Rumble is you can still have regular tapology contests at the same time. The Royal Rumble would just be like a bonus.
