Yes and you will also see fighters being hesitant to throw body shots because they don't want to get fucked. Eye pokes I would consider 1 foul 1 point taken, but not nut shots.

I get that leaving it to the ref people are gonna be inconsistent and refs are gonna donk it out but the issue is the comissions clearly don't care. If they cared refs would take points more often when it's clearly appropriate and not just accidental.
I would say there's like 20 fouls for each point taken. There's lots of room to up that to a point where it will affect behaviour and you're not penalizing clearly accidental blows and fucking guys over all the time.
