I liked 1 best, but 2 is still awesome. I didn't care much for 3, and 4 is garbage, I wont' be finishing it anytime soon, if at all.

I haven't finished Fargo season 4 yet (so I'm trying to avoid the discussion for now) but this season is not that good. Seems it lacks focus. Too many characters and sometimes without direction. But definitely for sure Chris Rock is just a miscast. He just doesn't have the gravitas for the role. Any second I'm expecting him to crack a joke.

She's got the look of Jodie Foster and Julianne Moore. I like it. Never seen her in motion, though. Bryan Fuller, in another fit of populating his world with LGBTQ folk, wanted Ellen Page for Clarice back on HANNIBAL, but the character was embroiled in rights issues.

HBO Rebooting TRUE BLOOD from Riverdale and Sabrina Creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa

HBO is eyeing a return to Bon Temps. WarnerMedia's premium cable outlet is in the early stages of developing a new version of its series True Blood, with Riverdale and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa at the helm. Alan Ball, the creator of the original series, is also on board as an executive producer.

True Blood, based on a series of novels by Charlaine Harris, debuted on HBO in 2008 and ran for seven seasons. It was set in a world where the development of a synthetic blood allowed vampires to announce their presence to the world, with a host of them residing in the town of Bon Temps, Louisiana.

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer headed the cast, which also featured Sam Trammell, Rutina Wesley, Ryan Kwanten, Nelsan Ellis, Chris Bauer, Carrie Preston, Alexander Skarsgard, Joe Manganiello and Kristin Bauer van Straten.

The series was a hit for HBO, peaking at nearly 5 million same-day viewers per episode in its third and fourth seasons.

Aguirre-Sacasa is set to write a pilot for the new version with Jami O'Brien (AMC's NOS4A2). The duo will executive produce with Ball.

Aguirre-Sacasa, who has an overall deal at True Blood producer Warner Bros. TV, is also shepherding a reboot of Pretty Little Liars at HBO Max in addition to overseeing The CW's Riverdale, which begins its fifth season in January.

NBC Developing Female Lead ZORRO from Robert Rodriguez and Sofia Vergara

NBC is developing Zorro, a contemporary take on the classic masked vigilante character with a gender swap. It comes from a high-profile creative team, which includes filmmaker Robert Rodriguez, writer-director Rebecca Rodriguez, Sofia Vergara and her LatinWe, as well as Ben Siverman and Howard T. Owens’ Propagate. CBS Studios, where Propagate has a deal, will co-produce with Universal TV.

Co-written by the brother and sister duo of Robert and Rebecca Rodriguez and to be directed by Rebecca, Zorro centers on Sola Dominguez, an underground artist who fights for social injustice as contemporary version of the mythical Zorro. Her life is threatened by several criminal organizations after she exposes them.

Robert Rodriguez and Rebecca Rodriguez executive produce with Silverman, Owens, Rodney Ferrell, Greg Lipstone and Jay Weisleder for Propagate, Vergara and Luis Balaguer for LatinWe, Geoff Clark, Eric Bromberg and John Gertz.

Propagate set out to develop a TV series re-imagining of Zorro with a female protagonist last season as one of the company’s first projects under its first-look deal with CBS Studios. The idea’s first incarnation, written by Alfredo Barrios Jr., also was set up at NBC.

Vergara and Silverman are frequent collaborators; they have teamed to produce together several projects over the past decade while Silverman was at Electus and after her joined Propagate, including the ABC drama series Killer Women.

Robert Rodriguez was attached to direct The Mask of Zorro and cast Antonio Banderas as the title role before leaving the feature project.

Hayden Christensen Returning as Darth Vader in STAR WARS: OBI-WAN KENOBI

It’s the rematch that audiences didn’t know they wanted, but Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi will get another chance to deal with Hayden Christensen’s Anakin Skywalker in the Disney+ Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi series, with Christensen announced Thursday as playing Darth Vader in the project.

The two actors were co-leads in 2002’s Star Wars: Attack of the Clones and 2005’s Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, with Christensen’s Skywalker the Padawan being trained as a Jedi by McGregor’s Kenobi. Their duel in Revenge of the Sith in the volcanic lava of the planet Mustafar was the climactic event that led to Skywalker’s transformation into the franchise’s central villain, Darth Vader.

Kenobi, set a decade after Revenge of the Sith, will see Christensen take on the role of Darth Vader for the first extended period. It’s unknown as yet who will provide the voice of Vader in the series; James Earl Jones voiced Vader’s dialogue in Revenge.

In footage screened exclusively for investors as part of the Walt Disney Company Investor Day event, director Deborah Chow explained that the miniseries starts from a simple premise: “Just being a Jedi, it’s not safe.”

The preview footage — all interview, with the project not in production until next year — featured McGregor saying, “The most beautiful thing of all [about the series] is that it’s brought me back together with Hayden,” and adding that the two will have “another swing at each other” before the end of the series.

Lucasfilm boss Kathleen Kennedy called it "the rematch of the century."

Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi will debut on Disney+ 2022.
