I saw an article saying ABC is working on a female superhero TV show, but won't say who and implies it's someone we know.

Tried the first two episodes of Wu Assassins and this show sucks. One of the worst things I've seen on TV in recent years. Even the worst CW shows is not as bad as Wu Assassins. A few good action cannot save the cheesy quality, cartoonish story and terrible special effects. It's also funny how the show goes out of their way to rationalize why Indonesian Iko Uwais is the star of this Chinese fantasy series.

Looking forward to the next season of The Expanse, just marathon-ed The Boys and it was fantastic. Currently watching Krypton which is great. Also recently discovered Big Mouth and it's made me almost pee myself from laughing on multiple occasions.

Is Homeland Season 7 worth watching? Don't have Showtime anymore and saw the disc is on sale soon.

I saw something casting doubt on Jett getting renewed. Carla Gugino should have showed her boobs at least to seal the deal.

Ewan McGregor Confirmed in Talks for Obi-Wan Kenobi TV Series for Disney+

The Jedi Order is once again calling Ewan McGregor into service. The actor, who famously portrayed the masterful Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi in three Star Wars movies, is in negotiations to reprise the role in a Kenobi-centered series for Disney+, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

The development positions the series as the third Star Wars title being made for the upcoming streaming platform, which is set to launch this fall and is meant to take aim at rival digital services such as Netflix while taking Disney and its brands into new audience realms.

Disney+ and Lucasfilm, the producer behind all things Star Wars, are already making The Mandalorian, a series based on the class of warriors and bounty hunters first embodied by fan-favorite Boba Fett, and an untitled series characterized as a prequel to 2016's Rogue One featuring Rebel Alliance officer Cassian Andor, with Diego Luna reprising the role.

No timeline or creative talent for the Kenobi project were revealed. The Mandalorian is set to debut in November as a launch title for Disney+, while the Rogue One prequel has Stephen Schiff (The Americans) writing and showrunning.

Kenobi is a central figure in the Star Wars mythos. In the original 1977 movie, he is a desert-dwelling and war-weary hermit who later proves to be a wise and powerful warrior. Kenobi briefly mentors a young Luke Skywalker before being cut down by Darth Vader, his former pupil. Alec Guinness played the character, earning an Oscar nomination.

The character also played a central role in the George Lucas-directed prequels, which recount the origin of Vader and his betrayal of Kenobi and the Jedis.

McGregor last starred in Disney’s live-action Winnie the Pooh movie, 2017’s Christopher Robin. He has two major franchise plays on the docket: The Shining sequel Doctor Sleep, which is set to open in November, and a villainous turn in Birds of Prey, the DC Comics-based action-adventure featuring Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn.

Five More Join Rosamund Pike in Amazon's THE WHEEL OF TIME TV Series Adaptation

Amazon’s series adaptation of The Wheel of Time has added five actors to its cast opposite lead Rosamund Pike. Madeleine Madden, Marcus Rutherford, Barney Harris, Zoë Robins and Josha Stradowski will co-star in the adaptation of Robert Jordan’s fantasy epic.

Set in a sprawling, epic world where magic exists and only certain women are allowed to access it, the story follows Moiraine, a member of the incredibly powerful all-female organization called the Aes Sedai, as she arrives in the small town of Two Rivers. There, she embarks on a dangerous, world-spanning journey with five young men and women, one of whom is prophesied to be the Dragon Reborn, who will either save or destroy humanity.

Madden (Tidelands) will play Egwene Al’Vere in the series co-produced by Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television. Rutherford (Obey) it set as Perrin Aybara, Harris (Clique) is Mat Cauthon, Robins (Power Rangers Ninja Steel) will play Nynaeve, and Stradowski (Just Friends) portrays Rand Al’Thor. Character descriptions were not made available.

Madden is onscreen in Dora and the Lost City of Gold. Rutherford recently wrapped filming County Lines. Harris appeared in Billionaire Boys Clun and Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk; Robbins next will be onscreen in the Universal/Blumhouse feature Black Christmas. Stradowski earned accolades for his lead role in Just Friends.

Just finished Narcos Mexico. It was awesome.
Catching yourself simultaneously pulling for Felix and the cartel, while also pulling for Michael Pena and the DEA.

In one way Similar to a Mann flick of process or situation instead of good guy vs bad guy.

    Can’t wait for season 2.

    Gonna watch Narcos next.
