Clinton was impeached and not convicted in the senate. He was still impeached.

The House voted for impeachment, but real impeachment in the Constitution requires a person to be convicted and removed from office by the Senate. That has never happened. Despite the media saying people were impeached. The House voted for impeachment. They weren't actually impeached by the requirements in the Constitution.

It has never happened. And it certainly won't happen over this stupid phone cal and some career diplomat's publicity seeking.

Bill Taylor's statement is a personal opinion. It's not evidence of anything. The absurdity.

Again. Even the House GOP establishment is calling his testimony nothing. What does that say? That impeachment is going nowhere.

Are you kidding me? He was directly involved and is giving a first hand account of events that took place. It all lines up with the call, Sondland's statement and the text messages. Events that took place are certainly not opinion.

You're completely wrong. Impeachment is not removal from office.

They call it impeachment. But it's the first step. True impeachment in the Constitution requires the Senate vote and removal.

Don't you think the phone call is damning and worthy of investigation?
Say, if Obama had done it?
Be honest.

Okay I'll be honest :

I would've defended Obama as well if there was a similar call.

There is NOTHING THERE!! <26>

Wild shit.

Not any wild'er than the Russian Hoax and this bullshit involving a Fake Whistleblower (the only thing blowing here are some Sherdoggers blowing Schiff's 1-inch pecker) <BC1>

No, it doesn't, unless you can source that, in which case I'll admit to being misinformed.

The U.S. Constitution. The House has voted to impeach two POTUS and both were acquitted by the Senate. None were impeached as defined by the Constitution.

1) Everything we know from his testimony, like everything else that has come out of these closed door sessions, is just want the House Democrats in charge want us to know and decide to leak. We're getting tidbits from a partisan source.

2) Similar to the texts that were released in which Sondland told Taylor he was mistaken, Taylor's latest claims are likely to be directly contradicted by Sondland. So it becomes a "who do you want to believe" situation. And apparently, John Ratcliffe already refuted it.

3) Given the polarized nation of the country, there will be people inside the government who hate/love Trump and are motivated by something other than truth / justice. It's going to take more than what one guy says to usurp the will of the people and remove a duly elected President from office.

You're wrong. The constitution give the house the sole power of impeachment.

Which is vague and could mean anything. Again. How many times did we hear this during the Russia? It's not good. Blah Blah Blah. That phone call is their entire made up case and it's a joke.

He must not have seen this (or purposely ignored it) :

It gives them the power to vote for impeachment in the first part of the process. Impeachment requires conviction. They can vote to impeach a POTUS and have, but none have been actually impeached.

Lol what a bunch of clowns

The only clowns here are the Dems conducting these secret meetings with no republicans allowed.

Give me a fucking break... <LordRoose>

Are you gonna source your assertion, dawg?
