There is NO punishment for Trump in what you advocate. It is status quo for Trump but the likely derailment of Biden, Bernie, Warren, Pelosi and anyone else Trump calls for investigation of leading into an election which you are fine with as long as you think he or the foreign countries are pointing at something that has the potential to be stinky.

Read Trumps tweet just a few posts above. He knows EXACTLY what he is doing even if those investigations go NO WHERE.

I imagine it's boiling down to two things:

1) People smart enough to know Trump's corruption defense is bullshit, but dishonest enough to defend Trump and his "fighting corruption" line
2) People stupid enough to not know it's bullshit, and in good faith defend Trump and his "fighting corruption" line.

Both are sacks of shit. I don't know what's worse. Number 2 is stupidity and naivete to the level no adult should ever reach and probably should stop posting on websites and go to school and educate themselves to be able to think critically. Obama lost the number of counties both elections, and dems will lose that count every election because winning 200 backwater counties with 1000 people compared to the 2 million in san bernadino is a 200-1 victory, utterly meaningless.

Despite losing this "most important county count", he managed to get more electoral votes than Trump in both elections, and his victories werent hinging on < 80k votes total across three states flipping the result.

I don't understand in the slightest why right wingers bring up Kavanaugh as some sort of "gotcha"... you people do realize that merely because he was allowed on the supreme court does NOT in any way mean everything said about him wasn't true... right? Unless I'm mistaken and there is a "innocent of all allegations" clause in appointments.

It shouldn't need to be explained that votes for a SC appointment are not a determination of guilt or innocence of allegations, they are an opinion of fitness for office ONLY... done by individuals with differing criteria, political motivations, and party affiliations all of which would be antithetical to establishing a fair trial. That's not even including the fact that the numbers of each party member voting would sway the chance of being "convicted".
