China if you're listening..

If you want to find out if Biden and his son were part of a massive corrupt scandal, you're out of luck because this is forbidden according to leftits media and demoncrats.

Ok one question I have. If it's illegal to ask foreign countries to investigate your political opponents, does that mean that it's illegal to ask for investigations forever as long as Biden is running? Does that mean that Trump can do all the illegal shit he wants internationally, and it'll be illegal to ask for international investigations on him forever as long as someone from the Trump family just runs for president? That's an absurd argument.
The Mueller report made it clear soliciting a foreign government for help against a political rival is a felony violation of campaign finance law. Doesn't matter what politican does it. Stop being obtuse and repeating the same debunked talking points regarding Biden. This is a how trump fucked up not a how Biden magically fucked up when he didn't.

There's plenty to trash Biden on including but not limited to: age, gaffes, Iraq war, crime bill, etc. No need to resort to fake news except to muddy waters and attempt to normalize non-normal illegal behaviorwithout needing to resort to fake news

So we've officially move to "So what if Trump tried extorting Ukraine and asking China to manufacturing dirt on Biden. That's a god thing"

First, it's worse than "asking." Trump was withholding Congressionally approved aid (judged to be in our security interest) and making it conditional upon help with the election.

Second, the president of America is not Nancy Drew. We have professional law-enforcement agencies to identify potential crimes and look into them.

Third, no one actually believes that Trump's interest is in identifying real corruption. It's a ridiculous claim. He wanted to take out a rival. Also seems clear that he wouldn't be satisfied with, "OK, we looked into it and there's nothing."

I guess what confuses me is.. nothing to hide -- nothing to fear, right?

Reverse the roles for a second. Pretend that Russia invades the Ukraine. Pretend that Ivanka Trump then ends up on their oil company's board. Then the Democratic president in 2021, who's providing billions of dollars to the Ukraine from American tax payers, asks the Ukrainian president to investigate that.

Then the Republican congress impeaches the Democratic president because he started asking questions about that. Do you not see how dirty that sounds to the politically neutral?

The underlined is the very weird part.... because what we're talking about is the misuse of power to look for dirt on a potential opponent of an upcoming election. We're not talking about the almost uselessly small level of "dirt" that essentially (a) appears to be nothing (2) is avoiding the impeachment information.

So switch the roles if you want, but then Pretend that Trump is about to run against Obama, and Obama asks the Ukraine to drum up information to discredit him.

The GOP controlled Congress when all of this happened in real time.

They were completely aware that Hunter Biden was on the board of Burisima.

GOP Senators wrote a letter to Ukraine expressing support for the Administrations position in regards to the prosecutor

Huh? The concern here is that the president is using his power to force other countries to help him in the election. That's OK with you? Shouldn't foreign policy be conducted with the best interests of the country in mind?

Um, no? That would of course lead to an impeachment. That's not even as egregious as what we're talking about (which is withholding aid that had been approved in exchange for help in the election), but, that's exactly what impeachment is for. "The politically neutral" would be rightly calling for it and not minimizing it with bad analogies.

The most damning thing for Biden in all of this is that he's partly running on a position that he can work with the GOP and get legislation passed. He believes that Trump is an aberration and most of the GOP are still sane.

And now GOP Senators and Congressmen are supporting Trump's effort to get a foreign country to manufacture dirt on him

It's going to be hard to convince Dem voters that the GOP isn't just a bunch of crazy conspiracy theorists who only care about getting and holding onto power.

While it's purely circumstantial, the fact that he praised Shokin, the prosecutor renowned for protecting corruption and using false investigations to block the actions of reformers, right before he asked the president of the Ukraine (which by his own admission he knows is renowned for corruption) to investigate his political rival and son... after holding back military aid.
Well... it makes it pretty clear what he wants.
As did his comments today.

Anyone want me to tag all the Trump lovers who insisted there was "NO QPQ"? There's a lot of them. They're all bottom of the barrel stupid (ie: let's bomb Agrabah stupid) so they are waiting on the next talking points release before responding.

It's already been investigated and adjudicated. Would you like to read proof of this or are you just talking out of your ass, repeating yourself over and over like a good bot?
