The most damning thing for Biden in all of this is that he's partly running on a position that he can work with the GOP and get legislation passed. He believes that Trump is an aberration and most of the GOP are still sane.

And now GOP Senators and Congressmen are supporting Trump's effort to get a foreign country to manufacture dirt on him

It's going to be hard to convince Dem voters that the GOP isn't just a bunch of crazy conspiracy theorists who only care about getting and holding onto power.

I wonder if the image is political rather than what Biden believes. He's positioning himself as a counter to Trump - run based a positive campaign of working together and healing the country. I think he would have to be brain dead to really believe the GOP would actually work with him. I mean, he wasn't in a coma as VP during Obama's presidency, was he?
