Social Trump threatens Bruce Springsteen

I was watching "The Professor of Rock" on YT yesterday and he highlighted some songs that were popular but were really dark if you paid attention. "I'm on Fire" was one of them. Really creepy stalkerish shit. DMB's "Crash" was another one. It's about a peeping Tom, lol.
I've never watched it so I'm going to have a look now. Cheers.

"Hi, I'm Bruce Springsteen. I'm worth about $500 Million dollars. Here's a song called 'I'm just like you'...

Oh, the factory closed downtown, and I don't know where to go, la la la..."

Guy is a fucking clown.
His networth is over a 1 billion dollars. The left thinks Bruce Springsteen is some hero of the working class when he changes hundreds of dollars for tickets to his concerts and sales $40 shirts that are made in sweatshops for a couple of dollars.

His networth is over a 1 billion dollars. MAGA thinks Trump is a working class hero. See how that works? But Bruce does not want his palace in the sky have his name painted on the side in gold leaf like Air Force One when he leaves office but go on.

And you support Trump. You lose all credibility when you support a grifter like Trump then rail against Bruce for whatever reason. You do know what credibility means, right? You are giving a total pass to one side and calling the other side on things that you ignore on your preferred side.

Yep, although Trump is nothing like Bruce.

He doesn't sell his talent, he sells tat like shit phones, gold shoes, and branded bibles.

Trump is much, much worse than Bruce.

These guys have Bruce Derangement Syndrome.

Nobody thinks that but if you had a shred of honesty and compared the two and their early lives...there is a stark contrast...and it ain't favorable to trump.

Nothing wrong with trump being born wealthy ..that's a credit to his family....but people born into wealth are generally shitty people and trump is pretty much an embodiment of sin...it's no surprise the low IQ worship him

Trump has fucked your Canadian brain into poutine.... imagine siding with trump as the"man of the people" lol
I'm not sure how you'd reword Southern Man to refit the MAGA culture but I've got a napkin right here. Trump cultists are just beyond hope right now.

I'm just sitting here wondering if he really is completely unaware of his almost comical lack of self-awareness in those posts.
He got his AI summary that should have spurred a moment of introspection. I just hope blaming it on the posts in a single thread don't give him enough impetus to ignore the results.

We all automatically put blinders on to varying degrees for people we are favorable to. Our brains work like that. It's something that I catch myself doing and try to correct. Trump supporters are all-in damn the torpedoes. They want the blinders. It's comforting to believe in something like that. That's why so many people believe in a higher power (not to say there isn't one).
There's a sucker born every minute. Technology has not changed that.

Does Trump do this same thing?

He wrote it on a napkin at a restaurant, it had a meaning we can relate to, and even though they're one of my favorite bands there just had to be a comeback song instead of some introspection.

Donald Trump has angrily insulted Bruce Springsteen after the veteran musician said Trump was heading a “corrupt, incompetent and treasonous administration”. Springsteen made a series of vehement speeches on stage in Manchester as he kicked off his latest tour, arguing that Trump was “an unfit president” heading up “a rogue government”...

“Sleepy Joe didn’t have a clue as to what he was doing, but Springsteen is ‘dumb as a rock,’ and couldn’t see what was going on, or could he (which is even worse!)? This dried out ‘prune’ of a rocker (his skin is all atrophied!) ought to KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT until he gets back into the Country, that’s just ‘standard fare’. Then we’ll all see how it goes for him!”
......

MAGAts, are you OK with your president threatening an American citizen like this, for exercising his rights to free speech?

This is a man who things the civil war and world war 1 are the same.

Honest question. Are you retarded?

This can actually managed to convince dopes like you that he cares about you and your welfare. Meanwhile, you're buying his sneakers, cell phones, and crypto. Rofl.

I hope you donate your brain to science. The world needs to know how this shit happened.

Take the brain and halve it. Keep it in jars and put it in the corner.

no doubt about it, Bruce's most commercial/best selling album was subversive as hell. His hard core fans might have saw him as selling out and teasingly calling him "Disco Bruce" with the Dancing in the Dark video but he slipped some dark material into those hits. Born In The USA was not a song of triumph like the music insinuated but a song about the country's betrayal of it's veterans. I'm On Fire would sound even creepier in today's world if it came out with it's old use of "little girl" and fairly common musical trope of the underage woman. It could just as easily be interpreted as the video proposed, that the "little girl" was a kept woman with a rich husband not a literal little girl. Either way, those kinds of lyrics were more and more common the further back you go, today they would have a problem.
