Crime Trump Administration Sent Legal Immigrant to Prison in El Salvador

What costs zero: someone not in the country who's not supposed to be here.
Which is a silly argument given it will never be zero and will always run in the millions. So you can either compare where we are vs fantasy or where we are versus reality.

Face it, the country has never not had a massive population of what you would deem illegal immigrants.

There's a difference between zero and literally millions let into the country in only the last 4 years. And growing exponentially.

You're trying to claim it's not a financial burden when it clearly is.

And that's not a valid argument - "There will never not be some illegal immigrants so we shouldn't care how much they're costing the taxpayer."

When has the US not had millions of residents who weren't citizens and came here without legal approval?

Again, you're in fantasyland here when analyzing policy. The US has had millions of illegal residents since the concept was invented, and it's consistently hovered in the 1 to 3 percent range every single year since.

If you're trying to craft policy, it's pointless you assume this rate is going to decline significantly by half or something), whether you weigh the impossibility of doing so within the constructs of due process and civil liberties or the economic reality this country faces.

There are some estimates that the amount of illegal immigrants counting the undocumented could be as high as 22 million. There's a huge difference between 11 million vs 22 million. Why are you acting like the number of illegals immigrants doesn't matter?

Of course it matters - it costs far more.

The majority of the country around 54% want mass deportations.

Some people also think the moon is made of cheese. We laugh at those people, just like we laugh at the people who think there are 11 million illegal immigrants in the US who somehow haven't shown up as huge shortfalls in the population of the countries they would have come from.

TLDR: Why am I am not seeing multiple millions of missing Mexicans in their census?

Again, you're delusional if you think the country's economy will allow it to shed half of its illegal or undocumented population. That's what drives immigration, economic need, and natives have repeatedly shown they don't want to work in those industries that rely on immigration to provide the current prices citizens are willing to pay.

What you're proposing is the equivalent of talking about health care policy and assuming no deaths due to smoking. You can either have your fantasy or actually discuss a realistic future for the country.

1. All illegal immigrants are not from Mexico. They come from all over.
2. There are tons of undocumented people in the country - key word - UNDOCUMENTED. We have no idea how many.

Deporter in Chief Obama deported 5.248 million and we were fine. Economy was fine afterward.

We were fine before Biden let in literally millions during his term.

We were fine before hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans just came in. I see no problem deporting all of those. Most of the recent ones aren't even working yet or contributing to the economy.

1. Mexico is the source of about half of undocumented immigrants. An extra 11 million undocumented immigrants x .5 = "multiple millions of missing Mexicans". Do you not do basic math?
2a. Undocumented means that they lack legal documents, not that they don't participate in society or the census.
2b. Undocumented immigrants show up in the US directly but also their countries of origins indirectly. Are you telling me Mexico is purposefully undercounting in their census? Why would they do that.

The tradeoff was a shortages of labor in industries like agriculture, which is passed on to consumers as higher prices. You'll see a noticeable increase in food costs actually during parts of Obama's terms.

Deporting millions of immigrants is possible, but it's plain that scalability isn't there given the gross violations of civil rights we've already seen. Like I said, you can either be fantastical and model the country's finances on the impossible scenario where we deport the majority of illegal immigrants or you can be realistic and accept that no matter what there will be a large population of undocumented Americans.

This just in and shocking no one:
Kilmar Abrego Garcia said he suffered severe beatings, severe sleep deprivation and psychological torture in the notorious El Salvador prison the Trump administration had deported him to in March, according to court documents filed Wednesday

Incoming:
"I refuse to believe that happened, and if it did, he deserves it so whatever." - People that fantasize about this shit

What's wrong with reporting on alleged abuses of prisoners under the US' custody?

It's almost as if there's something in the bill of rights about this.

The fact that these ghouls are already defending migrants being tortured is a sign of very dark times ahead. Trump and his Nazi ICE army are going to make Abu-Ghraib look like a child's birthday party.

Do you believe the rather large volume of reporting documenting the rampant abuses in El Salvadorean prisons?

Did anyone saw that ICE arrasted Júlio chaves Jr?
Not for being ilegal, but for cartel relationships.
I Just read it, didnt saw it on sherdog yet

You don’t think he was tortured? You think every single person who’s said CECOT tortures people (watchdog orgs, people who’ve been there, people who’ve worked there) are all lying?

He has not been proven to be either of those things beyond a reasonable doubt nor in a court of law. I think it is very progressive of you to believe a woman accusing him of something without it actually being proven. Sure you will keep that same energy for all accusations women make against men, yeah?
