Crime Trump Administration Sent Legal Immigrant to Prison in El Salvador

With that broad a brush? Not Progressives, the Squad, BLM... Saying Democrats makes it seem like you're playing the "us versus them" game.
Well, I guess people will do that when the party's POTUS pick shills for bail funds. Ironically, bail is a part of due process.

Ah, the classic citing the CIS despite their research being a joke. Obvious issues
-It assigns costs for citizens to illegal immigrants despite them being things citizens are entitled to have access to.
-Its math for education costs is hilariously bad (most of the costs of education can't even be broken down into individual students).
-Again, it assigns the costs of US citizens to illegal immigrants for education.

Just awful research that wouldn't pass muster in high school, let alone serious discourse.
Notice how he won't separate legal from illegal immigrants.

<{hughesimpress}>
Illegal immigrants alone are a net profit for the US fiscally. This has been studied extensively. Do you think their magically claiming social security benefits en mass or something?

But there isn't a double standard, not a real one anyway (on our end, broadly speaking). Everyone gets due process, full stop. It's very simple. No matter how you dress up the desire to qualify it.... you're still qualifying it. And of course the purpose is, among other things, about the raw exercise of power. Reducing or eliminating due process for one person makes another all that more privileged. And that reason itself is tough to defend rhetorically, so you and the reactionary shout-o-sphere make it about who instead of what.
We can always count on you to stand up for the little guy, not the one he was touching of course

Makes you wonder why we even bother with defense attorneys, amirite
Yes why. He a kid fucking human trafficker who was in a prison in his home country. Problem solved. You demanded the greatest dad on earth back because trump is a big dumb meany head. He was the most innocent man on earth!!! Then you found out he was yet another pee pee toucher but you were stuck and rather than go wow I was worn about that you had to dig in like a world class fucking idiot. Nobody will ever notice I loved the goalposts to due process. They’ll forget if I say it enough! We didn’t. You defended a pee pee toucher. Again. Kenosha was another epic one. You just keep stepping on these mines. Maybe wait a week before you comment on a hot story shout once? Nah. Pretend you never did it. Maybe anewt will back you up. Possible sinister? Never gave a shit about due process until this story. It’s weird. Nah nobody will notice. Never happened.

Did you have another stroke

I can accept an argument that that's a bridge too far for California and first to go when deficits happen. Even with that cost though, immigrants are still a net gain fiscally for state and country.

You're being lied to. There's no way to even say that because the estimates on how many undocumented there are in this country are wildly inaccurate. Like millions of people off.

For reference, all three states that decided to give Medicaid to illegal immigrants (California, Minnesota and Illinois) severely underestimated how many people there were and now suffering from severe budget shortfalls. So they all had to scale back.

For those states that don't offer Medicaid to illegal immigrants, the hospitals still have to bear the brunt of the cost whenever they give birth, have an accident, etc.

Democratic States Expanded Healthcare to Undocumented Immigrants. Now They’re Rolling It Back.

Are we factoring in the costs of uninsured residents or citizens down the road and its impacts on the economy, as well as just the overall economic boost for more labor?

I did, it doesn't' mention that kind of dynamic scoring or Apples to Apples comparison. You're arguing that that math exists and is in favor of your argument, so where is it?

That's a politician answer.

It's pretty straitforward. The states decided to give health insurance to illegal immigrants and found the costs way over what they thought it would be and can't afford it.

What's a politician answer? Asking for dynamic scoring or a proper apple's to apple's comparison in this case?

They found they couldn't afford it in the short term, which is completely different than whether they can afford it in the long term.

They're billions in the red just from a few months of doing it. Of course they can't afford it long term.

What kind of critique is that? It is a straightforward apples to apples comparison. The cost to medically insure illegal immigrants is due to the large number of them - not due to uninsured residents or soon to be citizens.

Citizens "down the road" just means green card holders who have always qualified for Medicaid and is not a factor in why these states are in the red.

You know whats a better living then some of these places in shit hole countries? our prison system. Come to USA break some laws and be guaranteed shelter, protection and meals.
A Canadian citizen who was a legal resident in the US just died in ICE custody. Go eat your own shit, you diseased asshole.

All things equal, which costs the US government more: someone uninsured for 10 years or someone insured for 10 years?
