Tony was lucky to never face Khabib

They really are incredibly annoying. You can't have any conversation about the man that isn't just blindly blowing him, like he was completely flawless and unbeatable. Idol worship which those Dagestani's find abhorent btw.
Khabib basically missed ALL the legendary fighters except for Conor and RDA.

No BJ Penns, no Benson Hendersons, no Pettis, no Frankie, no Maynard... basically anyone that would be a threat to him and has a name - he missed by a generation or two.

We're going to act like the MJs and Barbosa's of the LW division are hot shit.....

He'll he didn't even fight Eddie Alvarez or Kevin Lee....

The really high level BJJ guys like prime Tony or Charles are nowhere to be found on his record. But there's Al on a short notice and there's Horscher....

That's his record, a pre-champ RDA and a drunk Conor who had a boxing only camp before him.

I mean not even Nate Diaz.....

he was beating top fighters. he won the belt and finished three consecutive number one contenders. he is tied for the record of most title defenses at 155.

lol at saying he didn't fight anyone who was a name, when he clowned the literally biggest name in the history of the sport.

you're making it sound like he ducked the people who were in a generation before him. who should he have fought as champion that he didn't?

Tony is a prize fighter, fighting Khabib would have been a big cheque and added value to his name.

He was very unlucky to not get a title fight.

I'm saying he didn't fight half the division in Tony, Charles, Kevin Lee, Nate Diaz, Eddie Alvarez, most of them are still fighting, and are all a threat to him... unlike the MJs and the Barbosas of the division.

I'm saying that EVERY LEGENDARY FIGHTER EVER fought the generation after him, and Khabib retired without fighting 5 big names from his time, and 0 big names from the next generation.

I know exactly what I'm saying and so do you.

All his fans have is a lot of "maybe" and "probably".

Why didn't he stay and fight Do Bronx? It's clear as day that he's an awesome stylistic matchup for him ... why not test himself? A PROVEN ground game fighter. Instead he fights who? Gaethje, someone that supposed to have a ground game on paper?

Do Bronx - ground fighter, Nate - ground fighter, Kevin Lee - ground fighter..... instead he fought who? Darrel Horscher?

No what you ARE saying is that you wanted Khabib to stick around until he lost to someone, anyone.

Another goalpost mover thread.

He decided to retire undisputed, undefeated 29-0 P4P#1. Not a fans opinion, out and out facts.

IMHO. GOAT @ 155

Yeah, instead he fought the guys that beat the shit out of the guys you mentioned lmao.

If you think that's the way MMA works go watch something else. I'm not interested in your opinion.

The dude cant defend a takedown to save his life, his bottom game against the cage sucked.

Khabib vs Tony : 50-40

That fight wouldn’t go the distance. Khabib would end it in the 1st round.

What I am saying is that he avoided his stylistic threats. Again, you know EXACTLY what I'm saying.

And saying Khabib retired in not debatable. Saying he decided to retire undefeated is also not debatable. What the fuck does that have to do with anything?

He decided to retire before facing his biggest challenges? You want a medal for that?

That fight wouldn’t go the distance. Khabib would end it in the 1st round.

Look at this post... another "would" guy.

Your boyfriend WOULD have fought Tony in his prime if he didn't eat tiramisu before the fight. If HE AND HIS TEAM didn't INTENTIONALLY go to an UNSANCTIONED doctor after the weigh ins and didn't INTENTIONALLY evade that fight.

He fought everyone that was high ranked.
Why would he fight a fighter with a name who is low in the ranking.
Khabib fights the best fighters at the moment with win streaks. He is not fighting fighters who are popular but don't show up and are not high ranked.
Do you want to see fighters fight the best fighters or the most popular fighter?

What I am saying is that he avoided his stylistic threats. Again, you know EXACTLY what I'm saying.

Who else as champ decides to fight guys ranked outside of the top 5 at least.

Who?

Nobody!

I know EXACTLY what you are saying, you hate Khabib and will spin anything you can to try and justify that hatred.

I didn’t exactly like how he looked against cowboy and Pettis. Looked good still but looked like a guy that had some holes as well so I’m wondering if he’s just been declining for a well but nobody noticed.

Khabib should have fought Kevin Lee and Nate Diaz.<Lmaoo>

Nate Diaz got humiliated by RDA on the ground. Khabib walked threw RDA.

Kevin Lee got beaten by Iaquinta twice.

it's a retarded premise. he was scheduled to fight tony 4 times, each pulled out twice. charles was always beating nobodies and lost every big fight he was in, until his current streak. he couldn't get ahead in rankings. nate diaz's last fight at lightweight was in 2015, against MJ. eddie alvarez had one win in the UFC after losing to conor, against gaethje.

at what point exactly should khabib have fought these guys? and i'm not going to actually go digging, but i'm betting you posted about how some of the people who are suddenly "no threat" to khabib were going to beat him... before he clowned them.

he fought number one contenders. he submitted them in all of his defenses.

the man retired. there will always be a new contender that idiots like you will claim would totally beat him. and do bronx would fucking die on his back against khabib. but since you want to talk shit about it, he fought tavares, RDA, poirier, and all of them are legitimate black belts.

and if he comes back tomorrow, fights do bronx and smashes him to shit, you will come back here and say do bronx wasn't a legendary name in the sport, just some guy who lost a bunch of times before, he was of course no threat to khabib.

=
He decided to retire before facing his biggest challenges? You want a medal for that?

=t.
LOL. Guaranteed if he fought the guys you listed, you would have said "Oh he avoided the guys who crushed them like Conor, Justin, Porier, RDA, etc!"

Just stop, nobody is buying your ridiculous "argument", and I shudder to think you actually believe it yourself.

Very convenient that you pick guys who Khabib never had the chance to fight as his "hardest matchups" when they are nothing like each other.
I mean, who the fuck claims Alvarez, Diaz, Kevin Lee, and Ferguson are similar fighters or present a similar threat?

I guess Khabib made Tony trip over that cable, too. You sound like a fucking moron.

lmao after khabib get paid less than tony ferguson , we got "' khabib ducked kevin lee and ferguson".

Which is stylistic threat he avoided ? and when ? which fights he refused ? he broke tony ferguson's knee ? gave him pneumonia ? gave steroid to al iaquinta so he get save him from the GOAT wrestler Kevin lee 2 times ??

<36>

Your lvl of delusion is so high ... " Kevin Lee "

i wouldn't agree that his bottom game sucked, but i've been saying forever that khabib would've annihilated him on the ground.

that became clear when kevin lee took him down several times, passed his guard, and mounted him for an extended period of time. if kevin lee can do that to you, khabib will mop the floor with you.

doesn't mean that ferguson's groundgame is bad, but uneducated fans mistake his spamming of triangles from the guard as some world class jiu jitsu. it's not.

said it in pbp thread yday, Khabib would have destroyed Tony.
