I saw him switched bike. I thought it was for fresh tires until they showed the replay and the flat. Gave up watching on the 5th lap as MVDP was too dominating at that point. Didn't know WvA flatted twice. IT wouldn't have mattered imo.

When you are in the zone, you see every rock and crack, and never flat. When you're on the limit and trying to get into shape you ride into stuff you'd never ride over when in form. It's a weird thing.

I grew up racing in Canada. You can imagine what kind of weather we had for cross.

As a funny aside, there weren't enough juniors to make up our own race so they just threw us in with the senior riders. Nothing like starting a race next to someone that had raced the world championships the year before and it's your first year of cyclocross.
