There's a difference between hating a guy and not respecting his performances/skills/accomplishments/legacy.
You can hate a guy for several reasons like not liking their fight style, look, behavior, politics, etc AND STILL respect their performances/skills/accomplishments/legacy. When discussing their fights, you can still produce solid evidence based arguments even if you dont like the fighter. I am not talking about these people and I am not saying that all the people who dont like Makhachev are like that.
I am talking about a specific subset of posters who hate Makhachev because of his religion, nationality, or whatever and they let that dictate how they judge his performances/skills/career/legacy and what not. These are basically not interested in the fights at all, only in ways they can spin anything in a negative light. They wont change their minds.
