The graph you just posted runs up to 2021. The tweet was from 2025, and mentions cuts proposed under the current administration in the same sentence it cites a rise in the homicide rate. So it is already implied the two are related. Even if we generally accept these are intended to be unrelated, since the tweet doesn't specify the date range of the rates Trump has "overseen", even if you wanted to include the delta from his first administration, using estimated rolling totals to determine rates, it would naturally make sense to include the delta from his second administration so far in that total.

What is that change? Can you list it for every President, cumulatively, throughout recorded US history?

Mostly agree with the exception of the devotion to left-wing policies- yes and no. He has already shown that he will pull a Bill Clinton and go against the left if it is necessary to win. Including going against policies he has supported in the past (Trump and every other politician has done that, so no big deal in order to win). He is already checking boxes in the other direction- basically speaking against trans in girls' sports and GAC for children, not to mention moving in the opposite direction from defunding the police as in the OP. The question is whether the hardcore socialists and radical identity people (who make up about half the Dem party these days) on the left can let go of their clutched pearls and realize they are going to have to vote for someone like Newsom if they don't want the Reps to continue to control government in the US. People like AOC, Bernie, and Mamdani are never going to win national elections or any election outside of abundant far left voters.

I've been familiar with him since he was a mayor. He knows what he needs to do to win and is willing to do it; he has always been that way.

You linked nothing but a jpeg. It doesn't specify the deltas, and it doesn't include all of recorded history. It doesn't even include a quarter of recorded history per its own source. I take it you cannot substantiate the tweet?
