The graph you just posted runs up to 2021. The tweet was from 2025, and mentions cuts proposed under the current administration in the same sentence it cites a rise in the homicide rate. So it is already implied the two are related. Even if we generally accept these are intended to be unrelated, since the tweet doesn't specify the date range of the rates Trump has "overseen", even if you wanted to include the delta from his first administration, using estimated rolling totals to determine rates, it would naturally make sense to include the delta from his second administration so far in that total.Oh boy. Your never-ending quest to try and sound smarter than you actually are is absolutely hilarious. Try to actually comprehend what you're reading. It's a skill people start learning at a very young age.
