i noticed the date it's almost august first. i started lifting correctly around august 20th i believe. so i am going to try the impossible. add 50 lbs to my DL. hit the big 405 hopefully. i may fail but in the end failure creates success. although i am heading into these 20 days with positivity.

the smashy press is the hammer press. i just call it the "smashy press" in honor of SmashiusClay. i originally found levering due to his awesome thread.

yesterday/today i was practicing an L-seat into handstand. i have gotten pretty decent at this. i need to improve at the bottom. i struggle with pressing into the handstand. i figure the overhead press will help.

i am still sucking at the elbow lever, i can't seem to "stab" my elbows correctly. it leads me to trying to adjust which fucks it up.

i am toying with the idea of learning how to do one arm chin ups. i am not too sure if its worth it though. i have had problems with my elbows before. the benefits may not outweigh the risk.

imo, I think your lockout is suffering because your having a hard time holding the weight.
I found RDL's to help my deadlift lockout, so I guess good mornings would also help.

actually holding the weight was the easiest part of the lift. so i don't have to make the switch yet.

odd how RDL's never came to mind, thanks. those will probably work greatly for me. gotta google RDL's now.

I've my zercher squat is always close to my deadlift.

my split snatch is due for a PR soon. i attempted 175. it went up smoothly but my knee hit the bar. maybe next time.

EDIT:i think i should start benching more. i am still hugely inexperienced bench wise. so i could possibly bench 2 or 3 times a week while adding weight.i think i could add 25 lbs before i would need to switch it up.
