I didn't realize you are a teenager. Lucky you, you discovered this website early. I wasted the first 2 years of me going to the gym by doing arms/pecs/back days :(

i did that too, at least we found the way.


so even though though this primarily a lifting log i do also use it as a diet log. that's what this bump is for. i have a horrid cold and four energy drink cans feel like 295 lbs. that's 133 kg for Europeans ?

press 155 lbs x5 last two reps i ended up on my tip toes. i have no clue why, it didn't make it easier though.

i am still sorta sick. although i feel anymore time off and i am screwed.

i lost weight. how much i don't know but i am smaller.my appetite disappears when i am sick, all though it's now returning. i seem hungry all the time. so i will hopefully be eating a lot of potatoes and meat this coming week. gotta drink some milk too.

front squats and overhead squats will be a priority for awhile.

i want to push press 300 by the end of the year. hopefully the carry over to my regular press will be at least decent.
 
Strong pressing there mate! I hope to up my push presses myself, not much difference between thoose and my strict ones so i think i need to get some technique pointers. As it seems they should be alot higher than my strict numbers

thanks man. odd that your numbers between your strict and push are close. i usually have around a 9 to 13 kg difference in my strict press and push. if your serious about it i would do some high-bar squats and front squats. i think that's what pendlay recommends.
 
car pushing 20 minutes.


EDIT: i left right after i wrote this, so i logged the bare minimal. here are some notes i have mentally jotted down today.


1.) I've noticed some things. car pushing is very much like pressing.. well sometimes. when i bring my chest closer to the vehicle and push off with my arms only it's like a press. i do this usually to get the vehicle to start moving up a incline.

2.) any food you eat before hand wants to come on out. car pushing is evil, but i recommend it.

if it helps my brownie wasn't covered in powdered sugar. it was just spread evenly on there.

that is my body weight now i believe. i tossed the weight up like it was just the bare bar and then overhead squatted it for 3. i think i finally pumped myself up for a lift. it was a short day, although in the grand scheme of things an important one.

Shounan Junia Gumi is amazing too (onizaku and ryuji while in high school, of course its fucking awesome)

it's a good one. it doesn't come close to GTO or bad company though.
