Economy The DOGE effect, collapse of the CR

Bro, EBT keeps the Seafood counter full
You getting King crab for 10$ a pound buying that balance
Of course youre ducking when called out on peddling bullshit. Why should breastfeeding mothers mot be allowed to buy formula with SNAP?

Which is very easy. Is it a bottle of alcohol, yes or no. That can be done visually. How is a cashier supposed to remember which food items are healthy enough to qualify for SNAP or not?

The cards issued through SNAP are pre-programmed based on the established guidelines, and can be changed. Items that fall under restricted are automatically declined at a retailer's point of sale terminal when the transaction runs through and communicates with the EBT system. It's not dependent on a cashier's discernment.

They do. My wife used both.
No shit... people sold tons if it on Craigslist out in the open.

And how would you build a database of foods that are healthy enough to qualify? Who maintains it?

Are you tracking SKU or UPC? How often do you update it?

Point being, it's an ok goal but it's an added cost and impractical to the core for the program. All these people saying SNAP shouldn't support obesity don't actually care they just want to punish those ok the program because they think this is how you balance the budget.

You're 'not as smart as he thinks he is' personified.

None of that would be complicated or expensive.

Lol thats cuz you don't work with data companies that track those things. Shit is not easy and there is a reason companies pay massive amounts of money to track UPCs amd SKUs.

Walk me through your idea. How do we determine what products are healthy enough? And then how do these products get added to the database.

Are potato chips healthy?

So if your wife did both why should someone on SNAP not be allowed to do the same?
They should. I'm just highlighting abuse
you can sell your EBT at most private convenience stores in the hood

It's almost as if you aren't interested in the program at all and are just trying to score political points rather than make a salient point.

It's so strange how the GOP suddenly cares about obesity after years of fighting efforts to improve nutrition. How do you square that?
Why on earth would a cashier have to go by memory? It's not a judgement call by the cashier, your card either works on some items or it doesn't.

School lunches already don't cover snacks and soda.

The Gov really fucked over Blacks

Create Crack, sell it to Blacks
Lock up the Fathers for selling--Crack/Cocaine disparity
Make Mothers dependent on FA, EBT, Medicaid

Then go ahead and investigate and punish it. So strange how the GOP wants to do that when it's poor people, but nope they don't want it when it comes to investigating tax fraud from wealthier Americans.
No. They aren't. They off the list. See? It's easy.

Lol at you realizing you'd be caught and lying rather than just admitting it lmao
You're arguing that every single chip product sold is unhealthy? What's the evidence for that?

Lmao.

Are pizza pockets healthy?

Is candy healthy?

Are donuts healthy?

This is the kind of shit we're talking about. Obviously unhealthy junk food that even your disingenuous ass knows is unhealthy.

And if you don't know this shit is unhealthy, then honestly you're too ignorant to have an opinion on this topic.

No one is saying we disallow buying gound beef or chicken thighs or any of the shit you could 'make an argument' is unhealthy.

We're talking about junk food and soda. The stuff your godess Michelle Obama worked to get banned from schools. The obvious stuff.

Nope, unless someone makes a super healthy version of it.

Again who sets the guidelines for healthy or mot in your mythical SNAP program?

And who maintains the database that needs to be product level?

Lmao yeah what mythical being could ever figure out if donuts are healthy or not lmao
