The craziest liars youve ever known...

My family moved us to a small town in the Midwest when I was 12 and through another friend I met a kid a couple years older..named? "Billy" . He claimed to have moved there from California a few years before due to his mom wanting to get him away from trouble...sort of made sense right? Until you heard it was gang trouble and they were on the run because he had killed the leader of a rival gang.

There were even a few times we didn't see him around for a minute and he would say it was because he spotted members of said gang and had to hideout.

Then later on in High school supposedly he went to Indiana for the week to visit his uncle who knew a coach at Notre Dame. Well they were throwing a football around and by the end of things he got offered a chance to play WR for the Irish...even though he didn't even play in High school.

I used to be good friends with a guy in HS/University who apparently was the hugest bullishitter. But the stuff he would say was almost weird enough to be true.

Like how while playing pool some skinheads tried to pick a fight so he busted out TKD spin kicks, used a pool cue on them like a bo staff and cleaned house. Or how he moved back to the middle east where he was from and became a male model and soap opera heartthrob, rose from dishwasher to the head chef of the Marriott in New York with zero training, or is currently the global marketing director for the Saudi Arabia arm of a major american Electronics conglomerate. How the super hot Bosnian model chick from school was so in love with him that when he told her he was moving away for good, she said she'd wait. Or how this married milf bank manager was buying him Omega watches and tearfully begging him to run away with her.

All my other friends quickly tired of his outlandish, self-aggrandizing lies. The thing is, this guy was a 3rd degree black belt in TKD, and he's showed me some of these Pakistani fashion magazines he was in. He was definitely charsimatic, confident and (no homo) good looking. I've seen chicks throw themself at this guy like you wouldn't believe.

So it's hard to completely chalk it up to bullshit.

Most bullshitters have a hint of truth he was probably just majorly exaggerating

My ex was a super crazy liar. We go to CiCi's pizza to meet up with her family and my daughter. We go in and she ask the lady about where her family is and the girl just points to the back. We get back there and my GF starts going off on how the girl up front was being a bitch. I just looked at her like the crazy person she is and when she stopped talking I said the girl couldn't have been more polite if she tried and your crazy.

I would work overnight and she would take my car when I was sleeping and claim she never took it even though there was less gas and more miles on it (I suspected she was doing this so check my miles). She still denied it even after I explained this to her. She said she was going to the gas station across the street with my car (knew she was lying) when she came back I checked the miles and she denied that she had went to her moms job when I checked the miles and google maps the both lines up perfectly. If your wondering why I didn't want her taking my car it's because she had a drug problem and was leaving to get more Vicodin from her mom and aunt.

We got our income tax and we were going through the money fast. We had about 1,000 left and her mom asked if she could have the money to bail out her dead beat brother who was once again in jail. I of course said no. Find out later on that all our money is gone from our savings. My ex claims we spent it all. I said there is no way in hell we went through the last 1,000 so quick. I ask her again what happened to the money she denies she did anything with it. I say ok lets go to the bank and get a transaction history. We do it and what do you know she pulled out 1,000 from it a few weeks before. The whole time driving to the bank I kept asking her just tell me if you took it and she kept denying it.

If your wondering why I stayed with her after the continuous lies and BS it's because of my daughter. As my daughter was getting older I was enjoying fatherhood more and more and I unfortunately had enough of my ex at the height of that enjoyment. I'm so so happy I left her but being a part time dad is fucking horrible.
What happened when she saw the statement?

Update.

Guy who said he went had a layover in Antarctica also said he hits balls at the range better than most pros. He said he also got a hole in one at sawgrass's 17th hole, and everyone was surprised he wasn't a pro since he is better than 50% of the pros to date.

Some people and their lies are just so funny. Why do people lie about themselves? It is fascinating to say the least.
It's the same thing as when people on sherdog lie about being 6'5" millionaires who retired at age 30. Just in person.

Then and only then did she finally admit that she took the money out for her dead beat brother. Who eventually went back to jail anyways and actually just died a few months ago from an accident where he was riding around super fucked up from pills. I feel bad cause over the years he became a much better person then what he originally was when I first meet him. At the end of the day though he never could get clean and get his life together fully.

She sounds like a mess.

I just hope she was crazy in bed too.

I honestly can't explain why people do it. I used to be one of these people when I was a kid around the age of 12-13. I eventually stopped because I realized how ridiculous it is to keep up with all these lies but when I think back on it I can't really ever think of a reason of why I did it. It's like I just did it to do it there was no real motivation behind it. Just to have something to talk about during a conversation. Luckily for me I moved around a lot so when I decided to stop doing it I had just recently moved into an new area and didn't have to explain myself to my friends. I did have to explain myself to my cousin who looked up to me and he was pretty disappointed about it.

Interesting. I sometimes embellished a bit when I was younger, but it wasn't about things that never happened at all. I think you're right, and most probably have no clue as to why they do it.

Glad you found a way out of that. It's freaking embarrassing. When you see their faces when they get caught is just priceless. I can barely remember what has actually happened to me, let alone keep a huge web of lies strait in my head.

I have a family member who exaggerates about her trips to places. I have no clue why. a few years ago she went to Hawaii. when she talks about it she says "I went Hawaii for 3 weeks. it was amazing." I look at her like "wtf? you were there for a week. I watched your fucking dog weirdo."

On the other side of the coin, I have had some crazy shit happen to me. When I tell people the stories, with no embellishment, they have to think I'm lying. Nobody ever says anything though. But I would think I was lying too.

Yep luckily I was never caught I made sure to tell lies that you couldn't really verify especially as kids. Telling my cousin sucked though.

Same. I've had what many believe to be an unusual life.

People don't believe me when I tell them I was the Time Magazine Person of the Year for 2006.

I was. Look it up.

When I was 14 my mom was dating this much younger white guy named Allen. He claimed to be a navy seal but had a sizeable gut and I never saw the guy do any significant exercise, other than banging my mom of course . He once cleared out a bar because someone besmirched bill Bates and Randy white. His training made him lethal to the general public so he was always trying to keep his cool and not hurt someone. He also embellished his bowling stats despite being the 3rd best bowler in a 5 man bowling league.

You saw him bang your mom???

My neighbour has had tea with the Dhali Lama and got stoned and jammed with David Bowie.

There was a guy in college who would tell us these outrageous stories and he ended up dropping out of school after a bunch of people called him out on his BS. A couple of his lies I can remember:
  • He was supposed to go to his Senior Prom in HS with Brittney Spears. Said she was in town for a concert and saw him at the mall and they both spent the day hanging out. She wanted to go to his prom but her concert was only a couple days and she had to leave.
  • Said he owned four cars at home and made over $100,000 the summer after graduating HS by being a male model. We asked what he did with the money and he said his parents paid bills.
  • Dated Jessica Alba when he was in Hollywood doing a model shoot for Calvin Klein and met her at one of the studios he was "shooting" at.
  • Had football and baseball scholarships by multiple big colleges but went to our little private college instead because his dad wanted him to attend the college we were at. He didn't even play any sports at our college.
I remember thinking, if you tell a lie, at least make it believable. This guy was just so crazy with his stories that we'd just let it go to see how far he'd take it. Then one day someone called him out on it and a week later he comes up and says he's leaving. No one really said much to him and then he bounced.
