Crime Texas: Two fat hillbillies kill a Father over garbage

The caveat is the space this sort of "embellishment" will fill if one allows it. Bargaining takes many forms. I'm not being confrontational. She's the one who came to Sherdog and this thread. This is candor.

I don't perceive Aaron as a victim beyond a collapse of proportion. I can't control if that frankness offends people. Pathos isn't my moral authority.

What an insensitive little prick you are.

Is it really that difficult to demonstrate a little tact while also asking questions? Because I'm having trouble believing you would be this pugnacious if you were face-to-face with someone who had experienced a situation like this, unless you're just a total asshole.

It’s too late for him, the autism has an unshakable foothold.

Well, as I said further up the thread, in a situation like this the onus should always be on the one with the firearm to walk away. Their lives or property weren't under imminent threat, there was no crime in progress, and there's no reason to suppose that if they'd retreated Aaron would have followed. Sorry, if you deliberately goad an irrationally angry man - even if he then turns violent - as far as I'm concerned that doesn't constitute self-defense.
You would turn your back on someone who threatened to kill you? I think the fat dudes where fucking stupid for arguing over trash, but at the end of the day they stood there calmly and gave the dude like 10 warnings about what they would do if he continued down the path he started.

Like I said in an earlier post, it seems like the big dude was not used to people standing up to him and when they did (in a calm cool manner) he lost his shit and got himself shot.

@KaraHoward
I don't care that the rednecks are headed to prison, but frankly, I don't find you a reliable witness/narrator.

He threw the bat at the father. It is caught in of the frames from your own video:

I have no sympathy for decision-making this terrible. I don't see this as the behavior of a victim.
I agree. The guy with the bat had countless chances to back off.

amazing that the swears are censored out. We are watching a video of a man promising to kill two men over and over, then getting shot dead, buuuuut we can’t know what swears he was using.

I agree. The guy with the bat had countless chances to back off.

Once he threw the bat, he was unarmed and THEN it seemed they opened fire.

They probably thought "Hey! He just gave us an excuse to blow his head off! Like.....SELF-DEFENSE, Man!"

Is @Madmick in here sticking up for murderers and taunting the victims wife?

<SelenaWow>

Not the point. The bat wasn't thrown "over their heads". Ergo, I have no reason to believe that he didn't swing the bat before this when I couldn't see what was happening.
How is that point not relevant? They shot first, and the bat was thrown afterwards. It's like saying who instigated the physical violence , in a fight, is not relevant.

No, I think he's stating his view on the situation. Like someone would do on a message board.

Maybe I've gotten cynical in my later years, but I'm very leery of someone who's first thought in an explosive situation is to start filming. I'm surprised we didn't hear " this is going on youtube" after the shooting. And then, after losing their spouse, feels the need to make the round on message boards seeking sympathy.

If someone points a gun at me and says to not come closer, I'm walking away. If a cop points a gun at me and says "hands up", I'm putting my hands up. Hopefully I won't have some stupid macho gene kick in.

If I'd have posted half of what he did I'd have a 10/19/2018 join date already. IMO

Also, have you seen people today? Their first reaction to anything is to pull out their phone and start filming.

Anyone seen that black mirrors episode?

Once again, there were 5 adults and none of them chose to deescalate. All 5 made the wrong choices and there were no logical decisions made.

The wife egging him on was so insane. Like him blowing up at people was normal. She turned him up when she should have been turning him down.

Just say it's not worth it, let's go home. 5 people could have said that. This is a something to learn from for stupid people. Let logic prevail, don't let your ego prevail.

The maxim that once someone pulls a gun you should just go submissive and obey their commands is not a good one to set imo.

You don't have the right to shoot people just because you warn them you're going to do it!

I understand the cynicism, but there's no reason not to err on the side of caution and show a little sympathy to someone who for all intents and purposes appears to be the person who went through such a tragic event.

I just can't understand why people have such a problem in dropping their ego for a second, and showing a little humanity - because that's what it boils down to - you, and people like @Madmick are worried that someone may be trolling you, and don't want to take the chance that someone may have gotten one over on you. Big fuckin deal if that's the case.
