Rumored Tank vs Lomachenko 2025 PPV’

I get wanting to spend more time with the family considering what's happening in Ukraine, just sucks about his age at this point. He's only going to degrade faster and a 2025 fight I fear he might not look particularly good

This is the first time the fight has been negotiated and PBC / top rank were on the same page along Amazon and ESPN on a joined PPV and Loma is the one that did not wanted to follow through…
 
Bad move by Loma: either he’ll miss out on his highest payday or will get it when he’s already washed up. If he wants to fight Tank, there’s no better timing than now.

However, if this means Tank will have to fight Shakur next, I’m all for it.

Loma had been calling him out for over a half decade. Floyd even went so far as to announce the fight in the past. Several years back he did it on-air on Showtime. Tank then had a fit and claimed that Floyd, his own promoter, was trying to set him up to lose. You can't even make this stuff up.

Loma is nearly 37 years old, obviously past his best, and there's a war going on in his home country. Tank has been waiting him out for years because time was on his side. Well, I have no respect for that tactic. Either way this fight wouldn't have happened until the end of the year anyway. At this point what difference does a few more months make (assuming we get it early next year)?

Tank will fight again in 2024 … hopefully we’ll see it in 2025 vs Loma… let’s see

Loma was actually supposed to fight Shakur this fall. Not Tank. So, who really knows what's next for him. I think Tank needs to fight Shakur next if Loma is going to be out for the rest of the year. Right now we don't even know who the best lightweight in America is nevermind the world.

Tank vs Loma was discussed by PBC/Top rank for this November …
