It’s a high profile fight where Loma is known and proven enough to present a real threat to derail the Tank hype train, and Tank is always fireworks. Either beating the other is going to improve their status in both resume and being in demand. I think Loma will retire …. I heard Dan Rafael Podcast this morning and he mentioned that he fought Kambosos to please his father but he did not wanted to go on with the fight either … great career, hang them up if the fire is not there

He did only fight Kambosos to please his father but that's because he was bummed about the Haney decision. Ever since Russia proceeded to invade Ukraine in 2022 he's only fought 3 times since. Once in 2022, once last year, and now he's only fighting once this year.

He told Tank that he should fight Shakur and he'll fight the winner early next year. That way he can fight for 3 belts instead of 2. If they don't unify then he'll have to fight 2 prime P4Pers to try and become undisputed. At 37 years old (when these fights would happen) that's a huge task.
