If the ref gives a warning, it means it’s illegal. Come on now. No referee would give a warning for something that’s legal.i said it's not illegal in that specific circumstance. you said it was. i said no one would ever enforce it under that circumstance and you posted an example proving me right. now you're mad.
refs do not enforce low blows when one fighter is pushing the others' head down toward the waist. always been that way and always will be no matter how much you cry about it.
kenny bayless saying "keep it clean" is not the situation you're talking about here.If the ref gives a warning, it means it’s illegal. Come on now. No referee would give a warning for something that’s legal.
A warning literally means “What you’re doing is illegal so stop doing it or I’ll take a point”. If the fighter keeps doing it after being warned, points will be taken.
He didn’t just say “Keep it clean” though, he pushed Canelo away, walked towards him with the index finger pointed towards his face while shouting at him to keep it clean. That’s a warning.kenny bayless saying "keep it clean" is not the situation you're talking about here.
for what it's worth, canelo's low blow there is 100% intentional as well. he's looking to take advantage of the fact that refs don't punish low blows in that scenario.
and bayless knew mayweather was pushing canelo's head down so there was nothing he could really do. despite it being 100% intentional. He didn’t just say “Keep it clean” though, he pushed Canelo away, walked towards him with the index finger pointed towards his face while shouting at him to keep it clean. That’s a warning.
Also, “Keep it clean” means what Canelo did was dirty, that it was a foul. When referees say they want a clean fight, it means they want the fighters to obey the rules, not break them.
No referee would separate the fighters, push one of them away, point the finger at him and tell him to keep it clean if said fighter didn’t do anything illegal at all. I’ve never seen it happen.
You're both right. A low blow is always illegal BUT a ref is not going to penalize a fighter for fouling when he's being fouled. Refs often point out that a shot was low because the guy that got hit low was pushing down on his opponent.just because you keep repeating it doesn't make it true.
it's illegal under every and all circumstances. there is no rule in boxing that says "no low blows, except when the guy leans on you". you're just making shit up to support your idiotic view here.
I wonder what network this will be on.
According to Dan Rafael that number is not correct … it was 350k …Tank-Martin 150k PPVs
I was thinking 150k was too low.According to Dan Rafael that number is not correct … it was 350k …
a giant difference from 135, surely. if loma weighs in at 134.8 is it still a lightweight fight? That's the full list. Note that he fought Ryan Garcia at a 136 pound catchweight (junior welterweight)
If Loma weighed in at 134.8 lbs then yeah that's still a lightweight bout. Tank fighting Ryan at a 136 catchweight was technically a junior welterweight fight. This isn't difficult to grasp.a giant difference from 135, surely. if loma weighs in at 134.8 is it still a lightweight fight?
