What was your biggest problem with the movie? No ankle locks?
It’s been covered before in a few earlier posts.
But let’s just say the dog and the entrance of supergirl were the best parts of the movie. And one happening in the last scene.

There's no visual experience? I have an ex fling that I would rather not bump into at the cinema, but I have an itch to see this one.

I want blown away by a thing I saw onscreen.

But for some reason I think you will like this movie.

Saw it today. Thought it was pretty good. Very James Gunny, for better or worse. You know what you're going to get with his movies. They're very safe, they've got heart, kind of sappy, saccharine, and some decent needle drops.

I think Lex was actually my favourite part of the movie. Hoult's portrayal is so unapologetically hateful and envious, I couldn't help but like it. Corenswet is a good boyscout Supes. No complaints with him. And Nathan Fillion playing a smartass is always fun.

7-7.5/10.

I hate superman movies, even as a kid. There's no point in them. The first reboot with Kevin Spacey was gay.

The old ones with Christopher reeve were boring as shit.

Lois and clark I did like. Maybe those two had great chemistry, and TV-cheeziness made them fun

You liked the most woke version of superman?

Having a Japanese man playing superman?

I never knew he was half japanese until just now. I can't tell you why I liked Lois and Clark other than I was a kid. You desperately wanted to watch TV after school (which I hated with a vengence). I think I remember feeling the need to watch it but it wasn't my favorite

Family Matters was my favorite. God I loved that show.

Christopher Reeves superman were awful. no entertainment value and poorly made (for obvious reasons).

Superman garnered an A- from CinemScore.

I have so much to say about the movie but I'll just save it once you guys watch it.
I can't believe the dog worked (looked silly) and hated them getting rid of Henry. I wasn't even going to see it before seeing your review. Now Im rethinking. Thanks for the feedback. Will give Gunn a shot at his vision

Hope you liked it. Just expect a whimsical Silver Age Superman kind of vibe. Or if you're familiar with All-Star Superman, either comics or animated movie, expect that also.

A travesty.

not a damn thing about this movie is memorable to me, nothing sticks out, nothing worth repeating. but for some reason this movie is getting better ratings for a comic movie than lets say eternals which in my opinion was infinitely better than just about any comic movie to be put out from the marvel or dc side.

id like to go back to the 90s where movies being made had nothing to do with comics and were worth their ratings.

I feel like I always say this on movies this year but I fully agree with DL in the original review. Definitely a solid 8 from me and at times a high 8. I went in with no real expectations and I really enjoyed it, alot of the things people disliked about it I liked, the over the top style at times, the story telling, felt like a solid foundation to build on.

The OG movies were good for what they were for the most part, MoS and Cavill was great imo, enjoyed DC as Supe here as well. Id like to watch this again but in a less packed theater.

@Dragonlordxxxxx haven't seen the film yet, but I've heard a rumour that,

Kal-El's parents do a Heel Turn; Lex finds a message in which they tell Clark to conquer the world once he gets his Powers. Some fans aren't happy about this.

If true, it seems like a call-back to Brightburn, which James Gunn produced.

Well we only liked that version for the hot girl Terri who you already mentioned..

But imagine thinking other versions are woke after that when you were a Japanese man playing superman. That recent dean cain comment just had me scratching my head.

I always trusted dragonlord but he liked thunderbolts way more than I did.

And I already don't like Superman as a character so I think I'll skip this one
