I didn't fully appreciate it until RotJ as an 11 year old. All my 5 year old self cared about was the cool looking stormtroopers and Chewbacca. George Lucas was a genius, because I had my parents buy every toy they could afford to and beat the to shit with very hard play style, lol. If I had only had an adult brain to understand the concept of collecting, lol.

ahh they arent worth that much individually. If you saved all of them and sold them together,thats where the real money seems to be at. I looked at how much that Jabba's band thing would sell for and its only $200 bucks. I had ALOT of shit from the 90s tho. If i had saved all that,I think i could have fetched a pretty penny for the lot.

The universe can only be fixed if they go back and kill palpatine and let skywalker/solo live. They botched that. It was the skywalker saga, and palps genes live on lol. The trilogy was Bens arc, not I literally (not kidding) can’t remember her name. I keep wanting to say rose.

No really. I can’t remember the name of the character Daisy Ridley played. I’m serious. In the end she needed to die and Kyle live, so like and leahs force ghost had something they would actually care to look at.

The Mandalorian saved Star Wars. Well it at least reminded people it was a franchise force long before the MCU.

His back must hurt from carrying the franchise after Abrams and Johnson's visions clashed to make trash. I blame Johnson more though.

Kathleen Kennedy is the Palpatine of ST ruination. She runs Lucasfilm. She admits she doesn't like Star Wars. It was simply a political outlet to her.

A universe of magic, aliens and all sorts of weird shit should not be.filtered through modern wokeness. Star Wars was as diverse as it gets back in 1977.

I'm actually pretty hyped for Rouge Squadron. Would love to see some great space battles that are the main plot points as opposed to background.

Rouge squadron and Andor are the two I am most interested in, I really liked Rouge one, and I hope they both have that kinda “Feel”.

I wish they would do something with Kyle Katarn’s story and or Jadens from the Jedi Knight series.

I feel those could make great live action stories

Since Star wars has risen back to GOAT status and is the sole focus of all life again,how old are you,and what are your first memories of this illustrious trilogy,and well,those other things they did.

I'm 50.

My birthday is in May, so the movies always came out right around it. When New Hope came out, I remember my brother actually got to see it a week or two before me because we were seeing it for my birthday party. I was PISSED.

My parents did the pre-order for the action figures for me.

Also to add to the discussion of the last thread about Mike Zeroh, I just stated how very few of the 'rumors' he makes dozens and dozens of videos from every week actually are actually proven to be true. So, the very few times the rumors he presents actually are proven to be true are just guessing.

I've never deep-dived into it to bother prove him to be bullshit, because don't care. However, if you'd like to see a video by someone who did a deep-dive on Mike Zeroh, here it is.

I stopped watching his shit along time ago, it’s mostly click bait with no substance to his reports (talking about Zeroh)

I'm almost 40.

First experience with Star Wars was seeing Empire Strikes back on HBO as a little kid. Loved it, and the toys.

Think I saw RotJ before I ever saw ANH.

Years later 13-14 year old me was loaned Heir to the Empire by this 20 something non-typical Star Wars nerd (huge metal head football player I was working with at my dad plumbing shop). Thrawn was the coolest SW character ever for me, and my future paychecks went to EU novels/comics and the RPG.

Watched all the OT in the theaters when they were re-released, and the PT as well.

Drifted away a little bit after the New Jedi Order series started, but any time a new Timothy Zahns novel came out I bought it.
