Who here read the Black Fleet Crisis Trilogy and what are your thoughts?

I thought it was an average series at best.

People got so worried the New Republic would become the Empire that politics were the biggest hindernce to the NR crushing the threat.

Glad people finally got wise to the fact Luke and Leia were Vader's kids.

Thought the scene where Han got the shit kicked out of him and the beating was broadcast to Leia was well done.

Ejecting a motherfucker in an escape pod while in hyperspace was cold AF.

Cons:
Alien menace was forgettable

(Big Down for me) In a three book series I expect Galaxy altering shit to happen (Thrawn Trilogy, Jedi Academy, hell even Rogue Squadron series).... You can skip this whole Trilogy and wouldn't realize it in later novels.

My final score was 5/10. I think I read the series twice, but the books were sold at yard sale or donated to a library.

Now that we're hopefully done putting the War in Star Wars discussion, anyone else jazzed about the Ahsoka show and Rogue Squadron? Rogue Squadron I'm cautiously optimistic about but I feel pretty confident that the Ahsoka show is gonna be fantastic. I think she needs her own game too.

Strange they never made that Canon. I guess it would conflict or confuse with the multi-colored nature of Kyberz?

Also the green hue would really bring maybe more backstory into the mix than could be managed with Luke's personally made Green Saber being used after Luke "lost his hand."

I don't know though, I think it woud've been fun to add that one different dimension to it all, but I can see how the sentient Kybers are confusing enough.

I think she needs her own game too.

Double whight saberz & all those acrobatics would make a sweet game! She's pretty high up on teh list of most bad ass SW's warrior too & so this is a no brainer tbh. We also need to talk to Ed Boon & John Tobias about getting her into teh tournament.
