Who here read the Black Fleet Crisis Trilogy and what are your thoughts?
I thought it was an average series at best.

People got so worried the New Republic would become the Empire that politics were the biggest hindernce to the NR crushing the threat.
Glad people finally got wise to the fact Luke and Leia were Vader's kids.
Thought the scene where Han got the shit kicked out of him and the beating was broadcast to Leia was well done.
Ejecting a motherfucker in an escape pod while in hyperspace was cold AF.
Cons:
Alien menace was forgettable
(Big Down for me) In a three book series I expect Galaxy altering shit to happen (Thrawn Trilogy, Jedi Academy, hell even Rogue Squadron series).... You can skip this whole Trilogy and wouldn't realize it in later novels.
My final score was 5/10. I think I read the series twice, but the books were sold at yard sale or donated to a library.
