Star Wars Megathread

Strange they never made that Canon. I guess it would conflict or confuse with the multi-colored nature of Kyberz?

Also the green hue would really bring maybe more backstory into the mix than could be managed with Luke's personally made Green Saber being used after Luke "lost his hand."

I don't know though, I think it woud've been fun to add that one different dimension to it all, but I can see how the sentient Kybers are confusing enough.
Yeah I'm not sure why, maybe it'll become canon? They've already added purple, yellow, and white, I'm guessing they just haven't seen the need yet since it's just a shade of green maybe? I'm not sure canon wise all the elements that dictate lightsaber color.

I'm probably gonna replay KOTOR 1 & 2 again when I get time now, lol.

Double whight saberz & all those acrobatics would make a sweet game! She's pretty high up on teh list of most bad ass SW's warrior too & so this is a no brainer tbh. We also need to talk to Ed Boon & John Tobias about getting her into teh tournament.
Yeah she got pretty powerful, holding her own and even clipping prime Vader was super impressive, wasn't intimidated by him at all either. I think she woulda made Master if the Order wasn't decimated.

Her style is perfect for an action/adventure/RPG, lotta untapped potential there

I'm not sure canon wise all the elements that dictate lightsaber color.

They're "clear" until "activated" by the touch of the user. When touched... the person "awakens the force" within the crystal. At that time the sentient Kyber bonds with its user & the color is a reflection of the Kyber itself along with the user's energy in partnership with the Kyber. I'm a little bit unclear if the color is inherent in the Krystal & the Jedi senses the color he vibes with, or if it can actually change its inherent color to the color of the Jedi would need. Will be something fun to look up when I get some time. It's in an episode of Clone wars with the younglings picking their Kybers, & I can see it, but can't quite remember how that worked.

A red Kyber used to be another color but once in the grasp of a Sith, the Sith makes it bleed by pouring his hate into it, thus corrupting the crystal & letting it know that they are not "partners" but the Kyber is now somewhat of a slave to its new owners.

There's a fantastic issue of the Vader comic that shows Vader making a crystal bleed that came from a Jedi he hunted down & killed. They had Kyber's sitting around, but he wanted one that he won in battle. It also shows how the Kyber "fought back" for lack of better words & fooked with Vader's mind. Made him question his turn to the dark side.

Interestingly, the only "officially" known white sabers were created by my future ex-wife Ahsoka claiming 2 Kybers from an inquisitor called "the Sixth Brother." She healed them of their dark presence & turned them white

Oh wow, I would've thought they'd tie it in to 9 ABY. Maybe the events prior to the Sarlacc pit situation were him setting up this take-over that he seems to be initiating now though.

Fun stuff!!! I'm loving how they're going to bring all this together in the end. It's a great time to be a SW's fan!

They're going to have to New Cannon explain his escape eventually. I'm guessing during S1 of BoB

Considering that teh Jawaz had Boba'z armor for sale in a flashback during teh Mando series... what's your take-a-way from this canon novel piece? ("Prelude:Tatooine" section in the July 12, 2016, novel Aftermath: Life Debt?)

(Takes place after Jabba's death. Before this it just explains that the Rancor trainer Malakili was the last to leave Jabba's palace after others slowly dwindled & left realizing that no more Hutt's were going to show up to bring the palace back to it's once glory.)

"And then one day, he left, too.
He thought maybe to tame the glorious monstrosity at the bottom of the Great
Pit of Carkoon (and, failing that, to throw himself into its maw), but the mighty
Sarlacc was injured. Burning wreckage from the sail barge had rained upon it.
Already its body—considerably more massive than the mouth exposed from the
sliding sands—had been partially unburied, its stoma-tubes slit open, its
digesting innards pillaged by industrious Jawas. They pulled out weapons and
armor, droids and tools. And skeletons, of course."

I personally enjoyed his escape in the Tales from Jabbas Palace collection.

He used his exploding jetpack to distract the Sarlacc and made his way out.

I'm not following you.

You said they're gonna have to explain Boba'z escape from teh Sarlacc in teh New Canon. I'm thinking it waz already dun July 12, 2016.

Your quote describes the aftermath, is there more text explicitly stating how the side of the pit was blown out, or do we infer the filthy jawas decided to dumpster dive in the pit?

The passage says that it was burning debris from Jabba's "sail barge."

Still not understanding your point about "Your quote describes the aftermath."

Aftermath to me means that these are the events after the original SW's trilogy. Are we in agreement on that?

So during the SW's original trilogy... Boba was knocked into teh Sarlacc pit.
After the events of the trilogy... the jawas pillaged the Sarlacc & obviously pulled Boba out to sell his armor. Probably left his body there where the Tuskan Raiders found him & nursed him back to health.

The aftermath I'm referring to the fact we don't see what actually happened.

The rancor keeper comes across a gutted Sarlacc, we don't know how it happened, we can guess, but until the actual "escape" is either on camera/paper or told by the man himself, we can only make educated guesses as to what actually happened.

Nothing makes me believe that cowardly scavenger Jawa filth would risk cutting into the Sarlacc and risk their lives...unless it was already dead.

So...how does the Sarlacc die, Leading to Bobas escape? That's what I want to know.

Folks into the lore don't need it, but you can bet your average casual is going to want to know how Boba when from screaming into the pit, to strutting around stalking Mando's and taking gaffi sticks.
