She was so OP she didn't really ever have to train.
It's self evident across 6 movies spanning 40 years that force users have a higher capacity for learning.
Before we even meet her for the first time we find out:
She's a self taught elite level staff fighter.
She's a self taught pilot
She taught herself how to speek ShreeWook
She taught herself how to speak binary droid language.
etc.
She grew up in that shithole with that shit head but rose to the challenge even in those circumstances. You don't need all the detail of how she learned it all. It's self evident.
Think Anakin building a pod racer & being the only human who can drive one as an 11 year old. We didn't see him practicing in the movie... we didn't see him learning how to be a mechanic... but we understand that even though the force hasn't awoken in him yet that he has levels of focus beyond those of normal people.
In Ep. 4 Luke just then meets the rebels, & the next thing you know they've given him an X-wing & we see Luke as a master pilot. We didn't see him go to school, (where he was a student pilot) but he just mentioned a few times that he's "not such a bad pilot" & then pops into an X-wing & is automatically the best pilot on the team. You don't need all that background played out to enjoy or understand the movie. It's self evident that he has skills far in advanced to normal people. However, if you would like more detail... then there's a wonderful Canon universe with enough detail to tickle anyone's fancy.
Maybe learn how story telling works?
You want to start insulting me because you have a different pov than me?
I can turn up the jalapeno too
The highest priority even the biggest armchair movie critic can't dis-agree with is that this is an entertainment medium & there's no scientific formula that guarantees success. It's how the individual likes it... it's how the masses enjoyed it that is of the highest priority, & the masses say they like it. Even Lucas feels like he just hit on magic & can't pinpoint exactly why SW's is so different.
So your declaration that I need to take a class or something about "proper movie making technique" is WAY WAY secondary to whether or not I enjoyed it or not. We can talk about that stuff if you like, but don't make it out like I'm wrong & you're right. I usually discuss plot details with people who are missing something & there is often a right or wrong in discussions like that, but to bring that kind of "right or wrong declaration" into whether or not it was good... is just your opinion.
