makes sense. I thought a new video. I randomly saw a video on your channel from 15 years ago where you friendly pratice fought your guy and lost by low kick. Just randomly popped up. You been on youtube for 15 years. I´m glad my karaoke fail singing videos disapeared that I had the urge to upload 15 years ago or 20. At least I hope noone has them anymore.
 
It's not that you aren't strong. Your technique is wrong.

Not that your movement is so wrong, it's incomplete. Probably sparing habbit. Going lighter punches in sparring to be considerate than never learning to throw full ones on the bag or mits.

Your boxing is the "just touch" style. But on the bag you can simulate a competition and "rip / blast".

You do want to sometimes just touch. But also have rips and blasts.

Just touch is fast acurate and non risk cause you don't commit.

But all your punches are the just touch version.

Wrapping your hands properly can prevent acute and chronic hand injuries. The typical boxers fracture and jammed thumb are best prevented by using good gloves and proper technique.

(Also, disregard all of @Deaths Head advice on the subject as all of his selfies show improperly wrapped hands. In fact his videos indicate he cannot even figure out the hook and loop wrist straps on gloves.)

with all due respect wraps are for pussies. I train without wraps on the heavy bag so my wrists get tougher every day. and I don't waste time fucking around with pointless equipment. takes me about 2 seconds to be ready to box.

Look at every amateur and professional boxer. Are they pussies?
 
So your punches hurt with just the arm.

Advantage is speed ?

Or you never learned western boxing.

You torque some, but seemingly very little.

I am not a pure arm puncher. But i dont often plant my feet and put my whole hip and body into full force body rotation punches either. Guess my punches are mye hybrid.

I do however typical step more into my punches than you see in this video. Stepping with every punch, instead of just arm punch. But my right ankle is still stiff and sore.

My style have always been about kicking. Using my punches to set up my rear right round kick. That kick is my cheat code. It got the death touch or whatever you wanna call it. That power dont transfer into any of my other strikes.

So my fighting style is a bit like a reverse McGregor style.

I use my punches to set up my kick.

Your roundhouse kick doesnt strike me as pure muay thai although not an expert.
 
Its not. I trained kung fu and capoeira for some years before finding muay thai

Your spinning hook kick looks home cooked. Certainly not TKD. You release it too late and your hip action is totally different.
