Bagwork Some bagwork from today

So how much harder do.you punch now? We have an 8 year old bag footage with you. Post a new one and we can compare
When my shoulder heals I’ll throw one up which still won’t matter bc I’m the one hitting so ? It would have nothing to do with someone telling me about power ,you can tell when someone has actual punching power and most think they do bc no one tells them they are mediocre punchers they are easy to spot . Lol

"Suprisingly, it has very little to do with the amount of meat on them bones, and has everything to do with how those bones move.

"Which is what probably led to your question, seeing a little string bean looking thing pack some whallop behind his punches. "

Equally suprising to people, is that a really effective punch, has very little to do with the fist! Granted, it doesnt hurt to have good, strong hands, and rocklike fists to make a punch hurt a little bit more, but it doesnt have to be that way."

I never tried tiger muay thai. I have never been to Phuket or Pattaya. I already know that i wont enjoy those places.

The biggest and most tourist friendly gym i went to, was superpro at koh samui. I stayed there one month in 2014. I met Andrew Tate there. But that was before he was very famous.

My best gym was a very small one in chumphon. Called "Seaside Gym", and a semi big gym in Chiang Mai called chay yai gym.

From 2002 - 2014 i did one trip to Thailand more or less every year. A few times i had a almost two year gap between trip.

Most trips was one month long. But i also did a 3 month and a 4 month trip

Good times
Why?

You can still only hit as hard as your arm can absorb at least without breaking or fracturing anything, the stronger the wrist and forearms are the less likely an injury will occur, most hand breaks are the result of weaker wrist hat cannot support the force someone hits with it’s important in general to have strong forearms for to support the drive of the punch .

Well all the boxers I know of who hit hard broke their hand anyway - Wlad, Lewis, etc

Wlad never broke his hand he injured a finger , I fractured a finger once it happens if you hit something the wrong way , if you hit something repeadily hard enough in a fight chances increase of hand injuries .

Foreman never broke his hand in a fight most likely bc as he states forearm strength is where he got his power from he had girthy arms mainly in his comeback doing a lot of strong man stuff and put on more weight as say a Wilder with those girly forearms who had several hand injuries bc his arms are like tooth picks in comparison and cannot support his own force he hits with .

A heavyweight boxer with average wrists told me that if you don't hurt your hand as a boxer, you don't punch hard enough

Who is that in your avatar ? A Jordan Petterson angry coach version ?

Wrapping your hands properly can prevent acute and chronic hand injuries. The typical boxers fracture and jammed thumb are best prevented by using good gloves and proper technique.

Here are a couple of videos of different techniques.

(Also, disregard all of @Deaths Head advice on the subject as all of his selfies show improperly wrapped hands. In fact his videos indicate he cannot even figure out the hook and loop wrist straps on gloves.)

Possibly but it’s conditioning if you train to hit heavier things it becomes easier to condition the hands as long as you know what your doing ,if someone goes out and starts hitting trees with bare hands full force obviously that’s not going to work your just going injure yourself etc etc…..my hands used to swell a bit and took months the first time I started on concrete they seldom swell now and I have t even beeen doing much forearm / wrist stuff lately .

I also have two kinds of gloves ones more padded for certain punches at times the other has little padding in them they are probably eve less then 8 Oz gloves at this point most of the stuffing is knocked out of them from years of using them but they are more a and I can punch much faster .

Let the records show that deaths head never gave a evaluation of my boxing. Meaning it's probably at a higher level than his.
