Should Valentina retire after fighting Weili?

Wins she probably sticks around for 1-2 more, loses? retires, she is 37.

Going back to BW seems like a ridiculous idea, at least now with who is holding the belt, against Peña or Pennington? those would had been walks in the park, wondering why she didnt campaigned for it, or probably was in between the Grasso fights, she beats them both for sure.

That depends on her bank account and the condition of her body.

If she needs the money and can collect a few more easy paychecks against weak opponents, then keep going. But if she's good financially, then call it a day.

Val seems pretty happy with her current lifestyle. Will she have a rapid decline or a slow one as she ages? If slow decline and she’s happy to live with some loses, she’s capable of hanging around for years

She always struck me as someone who won't retire until they get their title taken.

Because who else es left for her? She has literally fought THE BEST, the very very best.
Literally EVERYBODY. all the big dogs from all the divisions and in THEIR prime!!!

She already fought..

The best of 135lbs:
Nunes x2
Holm
Peña

The best of 125bs:
Grasso x3
Fiorot
Santos

The best of 115lbs:
Joanna
Andrade
Now Weili

Weili seemed to be the only one left for her. Because who else? Everybody else has no big names, no big careers, and at this point in age and in her career Valentina should be only fighting for legacy. This fight with Weili is super important because it's the #1 vs the #2 p4p currently and Weili has a big name already and great career so this is great for Valentina's legacy.

So after, should she retire or continue fighting? And if continue who is she gonna fight next ?

- Rose Namajunas maybe? She is already in the 125lbs division but I don't know if she is gonna be able to get a title shot soon enough

-Kayla Harrison? I saw she was calling Valentina oit for a super-fight at the white house next year but how realistic is that? Harrison used to fight at 165 or something and she gotta almost kill herself to make weight at 135 so Idk, probably if that happens the size difference would be ridiculous?

What you guys think? Retire or continue fighting who next?

Yes, she should stop doing what she loves, making money and getting a ton of recognition worldwide.

I thought Kayla was going to fight Nunes?
Schevchenko should fight whoever she wants. I would love to see her fight Cyborg if she could cut to 135lbs. I would love to see her fight Kayla but if she were to lose its no big deal. She is 100% the GOAT of WMMA IMO.

There is a reason why she pretends Natalia Silva doesn’t exist.

I'd like to see her fight Natalia Silva if succesful against Weili, then call it quits. Going out on top is always the best look.

If she retires win or lose after Weili she still gonna have a legendary WMMA career. It would be really cool if she goes out on top, but if not I'll still call her one of the best to ever do it in WMMA. Knowing Val tho, she ain't retiring anytime soon.
