Biggest payday if I'm remembering accurately

Could have sworn Arnold's was . Where does Worlds Ultimate fit in with Giants live ? Are the both WSM Qualifiers ?.

First at Arnold's this year was $72k. WUSM was $75K.

Pretty sure it's completely independent. Giant's live is the only official qualifier that I know of.

Domenic Filou is the only other Canadian to place. Hugo never managed to do better than 4th.

I can't believe Hugo was only 6' tall, I remember him looking like such a monster.

@irish_thug Dominic Filiou was a large man , and he walked away from the sport in his late 20s , he died early 2019 at only 41 years old.

So funny story about his wrestling career Magee wrestled Bret Hart in 1986 and it was pretty much a legendary Carry Job by Hart because Vince McMahon was extremely impressed it. But once Magee wrestled more dark matches they realized that he may have had the look but he didn't have it.

I remember Tom lol . I saw Hugo compete in LA at a comp with Fillou (that guy was massive). I got a shirt from him could use that thing as a bedsheet. Smallest strongman after his accident and getting off gear easily Whit Baskin. Anyways congrats to the new breed of strongman!

Damn I had no idea Fillou passed, unfortunate. Had no idea Marunde passed either till I went to look online. Last one to bum me out was Johnny Perry 375 passing, he could’ve went far.
