Nazi forces threaten to leave the front unless the Kremlin gets leaders released in Finland
A paramilitary Nazi force has threatened to withdraw from the front in Ukraine unless Moscow succeeds in getting one of its founders to escape prosecution in Finland, according to Sky News.
The 36-year-old Jan Petrovsky, commander of the Rusich group with connections to Wagner, was arrested in Finland on suspicion of having supported terrorist activities in Russian-occupied areas of eastern Ukraine. Now Rusich has announced that they "will not protect Russians until the Russian government does".
The US-based think tank Institute for the Study of War writes that the Rusitch group is stationed in the Robotyne-Verbove front, in the Zaporizhzhya region. Ukraine stated earlier today that Robotyne had been recaptured, therefore a rebellion among more soldiers with connections to Russia would be seen as a major setback in the war of invasion against Ukraine."
