Also Gerasimov:

Throw enough tanks at enemy hoping they run out of ATGMs and if they don't then jail people who complain about it.
Maybe Putin is commander de facto, therefore might be explained stuff that they doesn't use USSR doctrine how tanks should be used and stuff how they had fought for some cities while might had bypass them, encircle and starve out slowly. Instead: troops ordered to get city ASAP at any price.

Man, traffic in this thread is down to 1. What happened? No one else to insult or ridicule? ;)
BBC Did a story on Ukrainian woman at war an the woman an men in the hospital have to raise much of their hospitalization costs themselves. This costs is for extended care beyond their surgeries.
Beginning to look like the VA here in the US.
So, let me get this straight. We (US) give Ukraine billions in armament but can't pay a few thousand dollars for the recuperation of Ukrainian soldiers? So, weapons are more important than people. Makes perfect sense from the 'progressive' perspective. Sounds like the US is using the Ukrainian Army as cannon fodder to weaken Russia.
For west it is stupid thing to supply Ukraine like they did thus far.
So, you are back on the Russian side now? No western support for Ukraine.
If russia will win significantly then super big worldwide shit will start with new world order when countries borders might be changed with war. There will be a lot of wars in all world.
Christ, can you exaggerate anymore.
Good chance Russia will win in Ukraine in the long run. There will not be any worldwide shit happening, no wars, and no new world order.
Why do you think the conflict in Ukraine is going to trigger this? Russia hasn't really done much on the world stage since the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. Instead, China will be the country that has, is now, and will continue to influence the US and the rest of the world. It has the economy, influence, and military that Russia now lacks. Russia is now a puppet of China much like North Korea. Also, add BRICS to the equation: Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa.

So what’s your opinion on them Russian’s using that little kid on the side of the road?

ISW, Russia/Ukraine Campaign Assessment, 27 August 2023

A Ukrainian soldier, likely operating in the Robotyne area, offered further tactical details on the prepared Russian defensive positions that Ukrainian forces have penetrated and on those that are currently ahead of them:

The Ukrainian soldier stated that, in the Robotyne area, there is a system of interconnected Russian trenches, dugouts, and limited underground tunnels that allow Russian forces to facilitate the movement of personnel, weaponry, and ammunition from different tactical positions along the front. The Ukrainian soldier stated that anti-tank ditches and minefields stretch across fields in front of and in between these interconnected layers of defensive positions. The soldier added that all “unexcavated” areas around these prepared defensive positions are heavily mined and that Russian forces have narrowly designated unmined paths in their defensive layers to allow Russian forces to reach firing positions. The Ukrainian soldier did not indicate whether the Ukrainian forces had passed through the densest minefields but suggested that Ukrainian forces still had to demine areas at a gradual pace before advancing further. ISW previously assessed that areas near the next series of prepared Russian defensive positions may be less heavily mined to give Russian forces operating north of these positions the ability to retreat, although the Ukrainian soldier’s reporting suggests that this may not be the case in the areas where Ukrainian forces are currently approaching the next Russian defensive layer. Ukrainian forces are now within striking distance of the next series of Russian defensive positions, which appears to be comprised of a relatively more contiguous array of anti-tank ditches and dragon’s teeth anti-tank obstacles with Russian fighting positions behind these obstacles similar to the previous layer of Russian defenses. The highly interconnected systems of trenches and dugouts that the Ukrainian soldier described is the result of months of Russian preparation and it is unclear if Russian forces extended that system throughout subsequent series of defensive positions further south.

Ukraine is starting to win. If they're successful breaching the heavily fortified line of defense, there's a lot of ground further south. Could cause chaos if they break through. Ukrainians using thermal cameras to ID mines.

Seems like the Ukrainians are fighting a lot more intelligently.

Criminal.
No women or children as shields in a combat zone, but it has become a very popular and effective method to not be shot at. Saw it in Iraq time and again.

Your little worrying Nicaragua thread didn't gain much traction huh?;)
No worries, we'll just go back to explaining basic stuff to you in here.

No thanks mate, I'll be just fine. ISW is a fine source.
You certainly don't know what is going on in this conflict. Still thinking Ukraine is going to beat Russia?

I think Putin still handing out IOU's to China and even some US businesses to secure needed material to continue with maintaining and supporting the supply lines out to Ukraine. I wonder how many Russians know he has basically handed over 100's of billions if not a trillion in lost revenue to continue to support the war. This will have long lasting implications to the Ruble and Russian economy. When one of cryptos leading exchanges are reducing the risks exposer to others Russians have been denied the ability to dump their their dropping ruble for more stable currency.

US putting their foot down.
"
The world’s largest crypto exchange Binance said Monday that it has banned Russia-based users from trading in all currencies besides the ruble.

Binance’s restrictions follow reporting by Bloomberg and the Wall Street Journal on a U.S. Justice Department investigation into the company's possible violation of financial sanctions on Russia despite its public commitment to comply with them after the February 2022 invasion of Ukraine.

Russians have increasingly turned to using crypto exchanges after Western sanctions cut off Russian banks from global payment networks.

“Users residing in Russia can trade on Binance P2P only in fiat currency in rubles. Any other fiat currencies are prohibited,” Binance said."

Sadly for Ukraine it isn't even proxy war for someone.
Therefore supplies.
The kind of weapons, ammout and delays with supplies clearly indicates that allies doesn't want Ukraine to win this war.

And trigger this will a lot.
Russia and Belarus are dreaming....about new world order.
Putin and Lukashenko in open text told about new world order.

Belarus and Russia are hugging with Iran and North Korea.
2 most impactful ppl in Russia had visited Iran etc... it is damn serious thing....

After war started, Kim increased missile tests...
Iran looks that will build drones factory in russia. Lukashenko too wants such stuff.
Iran's even open rhetoric turned into more aggressive.

Then there is Damascus regime backed by Russia and Co and these gangs in Syria...

A lot of stuff.

Initially ofc China will bully west and Taiwan more, North Korea most likely surprisingly will do more missiles tests.
Then there are dictators in Africa, Vuchic in Serbia, Orban in Hungary ( purchased SAM system from China, hugging with Russia and Putin ).

Orban ofc will not start war, however if Russia will have land border with Hungary.... or Ukraine will be ruled by Kremlin's puppet, he might allow russian forces to do military exercises in Hungary... Austria best had to start prepare for such scenario.

Etc...

Kim ofc does have limited ability to attack SK with ground forces with boots on ground while to do shelling for cheap : yeah.
Plus if Kim will go into mad mode, in some missiles tests accidental strikes in South Korea and Japan might happen.

There a lot of stuff to be triggered.

Those thermal mine cameras are a game changer, and it seems every time UKR gains some ground Russia counter attacks and prob goes over their own mines more then UKR does.

Just say you want Russia to win buddy, don't pretend otherwise.

This is basically Spin Marino 80 years in the future.

another blow to nato backed kiev regime

close to 5000 soldiers killed past week in their unsuccessful attempts to recapture any significant territory in donbas.

of course nato can care less about ukrainian losses as their only objective here is weakening russia and they're failing miserably

The ending is lol funny.

NATO should not allow Russia to succeed. They should have provided Ukraine with the weapons they needed since the beginning. NATO/US need to stop ducking around with the slow drip of weapons.
