It's funny people are underestimating Khamzat now, it's a mistake. He's going to be at his best against Whittaker. And let the best man win.

when you say you're going to kill everybody but then you mostly just hug everybody, you're selling wolf tickets. Burns fight was 2 yrs ago at a different weight class and the Usman fight was on short notice. Whittaker will be the 1st actual MW he fights since he beat Meerschaert 4 yrs ago.

what's impressive to me is that he made it all the way to the top 10 of a division with only 2 wins 4 yrs ago vs guys who were never top 10 MWs.

There’s gotta be a reason for the rapid decline in activity from Chimaev. Maybe he was trying to rack up some money before and is being smarter…?

We will see. It’s a toss up for me as Robert usually performs at elite level almost every fight. If Chimaev has fallen off any, Robert can win.

Probably Chimaev if he’s mostly what he used to be.

I fade Khamzat. Rob is so much more proven, he's fought a lot of powerful guys and I don't believe he's deteriorating because he lost to Dricus. It'll be another day in the office for Rob, decision win.

I think he got caught in an armbar like way back when he was like 18/19?(Don't remember it exactly, but I know he lost by sub once on the regional scene)
He was super young tho

Whittaker tends to do very well vs. high level grapplers (think Romero, Souza, even Vettori to an extent), while he tends to struggle against top level strikers like Adesanya and Wonderboy. I think Whittaker wins by decision or perhaps even (T)KO.

Khamzat's high pressure style could easily lead to a Whittaker KO. If he fights like he did vs. Burns that's gonna be a rough night for him vs Whittaker's movement, and precise hard strikes.
