He beat the top 2 WWs. Usman is the 2nd greatest WW of all time. Anyone who can beat either guy is championship level. Usman is also not smaller than khamzat, he’s like an inch shorter and is massive, walks around at over 200lbs. Usman also beat the recent former middleweight champ
Who tf cares that burns knocked him down in a sloppy slug fest. He still beat burns, only reason he didn’t dominate is because he was weary of burns ground game.
Yeah, I mean I wouldn't bet on it but that's what I'm feeling. I just think Khamzat's striking defence is bad and Whittaker can spark him early.Whit hasn't finished anyone in ages
Never said it was likely, but that's what I'm feeling. I think Khamzat might get overaggressive early and Whittaker is damn good at making guys pay for defensive mistakes.Rob via early tko? There couldn't be a less likely outcome.
There’s gotta be a reason for the rapid decline in activity from Chimaev. Maybe he was trying to rack up some money before and is being smarter…?
We will see. It’s a toss up for me as Robert usually performs at elite level almost every fight. If Chimaev has fallen off any, Robert can win.
Probably Chimaev if he’s mostly what he used to be.
Yeah, Khamzat didn't look like he was ready for championship rounds against Burns or Usman. The excuse in the Burns fight was that he was too big to cut to WW. But there was no excuse against Usman at 185. Khamzat had a full camp while Usman fought on like 1 week's notice...and still had better cardio.Style wise Whitakkler should beat Khamzat.. If Whitaker can stuff some takedowns and make Khamzat work and take it into the later rounds it's going to get ugly for Khamzat
the dude has a horrible immune system for someone his age. He's probably had 2 bouts of a killer strain of covid and possibly suffered some permanent damage.
Hes not going to stand and trade with Bobby for the first two rounds. He’ll do what he always does.Never said it was likely, but that's what I'm feeling. I think Khamzat might get overaggressive early and Whittaker is damn good at making guys pay for defensive mistakes.
Usman was short notice, Burns he went life and death with a lightweight.I've got a feeling Chimaev gets it done, I'm just not sure how. I'll lean towards 3rd round sub.
I'm still impressed by the Usman and Burns wins and I'm not sure why everyone has done a 180 on Khamzat just because he had the audacity to not steamroll those guys.
Bro why you out here trying to spread lies to make a point and conveniently omit shit?He got knocked down by a grossly undersized Burns and completely shut down in grappling. A controversial split decision where you got seriously hurt isn't reasonable described as "not steamrolling."
Usman got off the couch, flew across the globe with zero preparation and went to a nearby decision. Aside from getting back packed for a round, it was a competitive fight and Khamzat again looked like a 1 round fighter. This is the same Usman coming off two losses and a really bad KO.
Now we're talking about Khamzat fighting an actual middleweight who had a fight camp. There is nothing I've seen from Khamzat that makes me think fighting a ranked opponent his own size will help his abysmal cardio or poor striking defense.
Whittaker is past his prime but a huge step up in competition for Khamzat. No doubt Khamzat is an incredible talent but he looks like a solidly top 10 fighter against ranked opponents so far, not a world beater.
Cope more. No one whose opinion matters cares about excuses. Just something sooky babies doUsman was short notice, Burns he went life and death with a lightweight.
Watching the excuses fly after Khamzat wins is always hilarious. Droves of delusional haters always trying find ways to cope. Some literally will just make up lies because that is how much Khamzat ruins their day.Hoping for Khamzat. I'm not ready for the hype to end. Plus, he needs to get his damn title shot. It's LOOOOONG overdue.
The only reason Khamzat hasn't fought is because he was ducking everybody and trying to fight 155ers at 185.I don't care who they book with Khamzat, I don't expect everything to come together until they are in the ring. He's had a bad string of luck of opponents leaving last minute.
