I'm thinking Khamzat's cardio looked pretty good against Usman, it's just that he badly injured his hand near the end of the 1st round which led him to take his foot of the gas round 2.

He didn't look gassed imo:

Lot's of questions should be answered about him after the Whittaker fight

The only reason Khamzat hasn't fought is because he was ducking everybody and trying to fight 155ers at 185.

I'm pretty sure Dana sat him down and said "listen, either make 170 and fight there, or go to 185 and fight a real 185er. Put up or shut the fuck up."
We don't know what happens in fight signing behind the closed doors so it's all speculation. Could be that no opponents wanted to fight too.

Borz going all out in the first will either win him the fight, or lose it for him. This is 5 rounds so he can’t afford to be going into round 4 with an empty gas tank.

I have a hard time seeing Borz win this if it makes it to the 3rd round.

I’m pretty convinced that Borz wins it in the first two. Or Whittaker wins at some point after that.

I’m going with Whittaker by decision.

If Khamzat wins, MW's hype is revived. I am not jittery over watching Strickland lawnmow jabs in title fights.

It's definitely going to be like Khamzat vs Usman again. His coaches weren't very happy with him trading with Burns like a fool.

Imo if he can backpack a guy like Usman, Whittaker better be working hard on his scrambles and reversals.

when you say you're going to kill everybody but then you mostly just hug everybody, you're selling wolf tickets
Oh no a young dude with aggressive energy.

What ever will we do??

Hes not going to stand and trade with Bobby for the first two rounds. He’ll do what he always does.
Eh, if Whittaker's normally excellent TDD holds up, then Khamzat might not have a choice.

maybe keep the same energy in the ring? don't talk about killing motherfuckers if you're going to decision them. just like you don't talk about being a gangster unless you're ready for some dickhead to pull your card

Bobby knuckles isn't going to fade in the championship rounds.

He fights well enough so im not dissapointed, for it is no lack of trying on his part. War Khamzat.

Thats one of those fights where I will just lean back and enjoy, no matter who takes it.

Bobby is such a nice and funny guy and it seems that he is has the prototype style to beat Khamzat. Moreower, its really hard to cheer against him if you are a true MMA enthusiast and not just some bandwagon whore.

Khamzat on the other side has been a force since the beginning and he has shown a level of dominance and being able to overshwlm people as we havent really ever seen before. He is not the nice guy Bobby is but he is apeshit crazy and I have to admit I prefer those guys over the boring ones. I also think that the whole division and title mix, also a category above, would benefit from a Chimaev win. As a real MMA fan I should cheer for him, but I just dont want to take a side here.

May it be a hell of a fight, may the best man win and may it be a win for every MMA fan, no matter which outcome you wanted.

Whittakers "Legendary Tdd" looked pretty meh against Dricus. I think Dricus's grappling is overrated. He couldnt do anything grappling wise against Strickland,Brunson, Tavares.

Banking on Khamzat getting the finish in first 1.5 rounds before he gasses.

I don't quite understand why everybody seems to forget that Khamzat injured his hand badly in the first round against Usman.
Watch the fight again, he was really close to finishing him in the first round. It would have been a steamroll. He got unlucky with the hand, it happens. Whittaker can't do dogfights well, he's a less polished Izzy, pittypattering for a decision.

Khamzats cardio looked ok in a fight vs Usman, but it was at the expense of output. No way he outpoints Whittaker on the feet this way. Im curious if he'll go all in from the start as usual, or will postpone it for later whilst losing a round or two. Either way he'll have to do it, as I cant see him winning a decision here

Whittaker can't do dogfights well? Have you even watched the two Romero fights?

Dricus made Rob look like a child. Khamzat does the same.
