Media Respect Paddy the Baddy; a true BMF, refuses to release submission, had to be pulled off

Paddy is on 6 fight win streak in the ufc, his last performance was very impressive. You can easily justify giving him a TS now, there have been people given title shots that is way less deserving than Paddy. (Hendo, Lesnar, Romero, Umar, ect., so on)

At most, he’s 1-2 fights away from a title shot. Give Paddy someone in the top 10, then top 5 and once he wins both, he better get his ts.
The guys in the top 10 and top 5 are a LOT better than both old man Tony and Bobby Greene.

There is not a more charismatic fighter at 155 other than Paddy right now.

If anyone can bring mma more mainstream and bring in more fans it’s Paddy. His style is also very watchable, if he can get a better gas tank, he’d be a force.

Islam is a very dangerous matchup, from a match making standpoint, it’s best to wait until Islam leaves 155 before bringing Paddy into contendership, but god would I like to see Paddy KO Islam.

Islam has like 1/10th the charisma of Khabib.

Lol. Does he even bring in fans? Most seem to dislike him because he doesn't seem as good as he and others like to think. I always find it funny when users on here NEED the champions to have some over the top personality. Islam isn't Khabib and that's a good thing. The guy is at the top of the mountain facing anyone who steps up and Paddy isn't going to be the one to dethrone him. I wouldn't favor Paddy against over the hill Poirier.

Who said the champion NEED to have a “over the top” personality, but it’s certainly a lot more exciting and fun when they do.

Being a champion isn’t just about being a good fighter, it’s also about being exciting, interesting and inspiration. No one understood this better than Muhammad Ali and Mcgregor which is why both became bigger than their respected sport and grew past the role of just being a fighter.

Also, Paddy’s grappling is very slick, he’s also threatening submissions, would you be shocked if he took Poirier’s back and subbed him?

The way your posts go, YOU need your fighters have over the top personalities or 'charisma' as you wish to call it. And would I be shocked, sure, but it won't happen since he wants to fight Money Moicano from news I've read.

Moicano would be a favorable match up, within the top 5, I can see Paddy subbing Justin relatively easy. Chandler is probably best matchup outside top 5.

Dustin unless he’s washed is probably the worst fight for Paddy aside from Islam. I can see him beating Armen and Charles, although I do see him as a small dog to Charles.

Win or lose, lots of fun fights await paddy in the top 10.

I think Paddy's best shot is Beneil but I don't like his chances against much else.

Don’t be fooled by that performance against Gordan, it was the worst I’ve ever seen Paddy fight (I actually think he lost vs Gordan)

His grappling is very dangerous, he does need to work on his gas tank.

If Paddy had the cardio to keep up a grappling pace for 3/5 rounds and can not death gas for 2 rounds, I’d give him a shot against anyone outside of Islam right now.

But Justin is a easy payday, his BJJ is non existent, if Paddy takes his back it’s over.

Hopefully we can see it soon. I think Gaethje chops Paddy's legs out from under him and then puts him to sleep.

Did you watch the video? Paddy agreed the guy wouldn’t release holds either if Paddy taps. It was a fight until one was fucked up bad.

Did Palhares agree with all his opponents that he’d hold heel hooks longer than he should?

I get the agreement thing, even absolve Paddy's actions to a degree. If you accept the stipulation that it ends only in unconsciousness, you're literally asking for it.

What I don't get is your creaming all over it and calling Paddy a badass and a BMF because of it. Insisting on the letter and not the spirit in a non–legally-binding obligation is the kind of thing you get from annoying pencil-pushers and pissants. The bully lost, and lost face by showing he was too afraid of going to sleep to keep his word. Isn't that enough?

My muscle mass per square inch is greater than his. I respect that you feel the need to blow smoke up his arse but I just can't relate.

Paddy gives a good explanation at the end of the video. “Gloves up weapons down. Settle things like men”. A good role model for the younger lads.

1m views on this video. 3.4m IG followers, 1m YouTube subs. Seems like he does. Plus he is a Sherdogger! @theufcbaddy

That's all good and fine but I meant the ratings for PPV numbers. Haven't once heard if he's a draw or not.

Yeah. Paddy had a lot more to lose than the bully.

Imagine he walks into another dude's gym for a straightener, surrounded by the guy's teammates and everything being filmed. Both having an agreement to not stop until one of them is unconscious either by KO or choke out. And actually lost.

Keep in mind that the bully asshat is a lot less experienced and green than Paddy is, which would make getting sparked out even more embarrassing.

It does make sense why Sherdoggers would want to discourage this kind of thing though, if there were actual consequences for talking shit to fighters from behind a computer screen 90% of this place would clear out within the day.
You were on a roll then you said something stupid. If fans PERIOD couldn’t speak what they wanted at a fight the stands would be empty. Sherdog is not any mote disrespectful than the minds of fans live and if you have never been to a fight the same loudmouths exist. Wanting to fight others over their loud mouth sports opinion is actually more disturbing than being a loudmouth. Fighters don’t care unless screamed in their face.

Never boring to see bullies get put in place. This is the way to do it so I'd rather see a spotlight on this than when Masvidal had to jump Colby from behind or start punching Edwards out of nowhere because he doesn't dare to do it honestly.
