MMA was barely a thing back in mid 2000s. The talents pool was so small back then that it made the heavyweight division look good.NO ONE was saying this in mid 2000s
its only the new batch of scum casuals saying its always been shitty.
Barely a thing to casuals like yourself.MMA was barely a thing back in mid 2000s. The talents pool was so small back then that it made the heavyweight division look good.
MMA has grown and evolved leaps and bounds since the pride and the early ufc era.
Weird, I didn't mention any one of them.Guys like Fedor, Cro cop and Big nog are not better than Curtis blaydes, Ngannou, Cormier, Rozenstruik, and Stipe.
Ngannou would kill 99% of the roster and all he can do is throw a decent left uppercut. if HWs suck, what does that say about the rest of the UFC when 1 HW would destroy the entire company and his only really skill is throwing left punches?
You mean... If we forced you to pick between watching You'd rather watch :no what sucks is having filler fights like WMMA
You must be obese, don't worry you can't beat any of the lighter fighters they would turn you into hamburger meat. You like to associate your fatness with you being able to fight I know.
Ubereem turned horses into hamburger meat. And yet even an animal not on top of the food chain can turn all heavyweights and the rest of the roster below into burger meat.
I rather watch two unskilled polar bears fight than humans.
That’s false, most big guys don’t play sports and the ones that do don’t make it as a professional. They just never wanted to or tried to fightThe real truth is athletes of that size who have athletic ability are making real money in other sports rather than getting their brains bashed in for peanuts.
Well that’s simply not true. It’s all relative. The best grapplers and strikers in heavyweight history aren’t as good as the best in small weight classes today, that’s silly.Early/Mid 2000s HW was stacked with talent. Some of the best wrestlers, strikers and grapplers of ALL TIME in MMA. Olympic wrestlers, world champion BJJ artists & kickboxers

At the time and for the weight, there were definitely great talents though
That at a certain point, sheer power and strength overcome nearly any amount of skill.
The limiting factor for all fighters really is their chin if you think about it. Anyone can be KOed, and power increases with size much faster than chin does. At a certain point, it really does seem that everyone could KO each other with jabs lol. Just look at Greg Hardy's last KO win haha.
This is why the lack of wrestling at HW always made sense to me. Imagine a HW version of Khabib trying to pressure like it's LW. They'd be getting KOed left and right.
And yet even a fringe TOP 10 HW can turn the rest of the roster MW and below into burger meat. I rather watch two unskilled polar bears fight than turbo manlets or WMMA.

I'll give you Cormier and Stipe but Ngannou, Blaydes, and Roz?Guys like Fedor, Cro cop and Big nog are not better than Curtis blaydes, Ngannou, Cormier, Rozenstruik, and Stipe.

Manhoef ko'd Hunt, Hendo ko'd FedorAnd yet even a fringe TOP 10 HW can turn the rest of the roster MW and below into burger meat. I rather watch two unskilled polar bears fight than turbo manlets or WMMA.
