PWD 265: In Mickey Gall We Trust

Punk really stuck it to Vince and Triple H with his move to the UFC. I'm sure they regret losing him everyday.

Did anyone see Titus grab Vince and shake him or whatever?

Honestly, Punk should have just fought a name fighter. He shouldnt have gotten a huge name but a name fighter nonetheless.

Del Rio did as a more experienced fighter than Punk and got crushed by CC, but it really hasn't hurt ADR at all. If Punk had fought someone like Burkman or Brown and got destroyed, it would have made him look more respectable and would have protected him brand more IMHO.

Del Rio actually has a competitive background of some sort, no?

Punk is a fish out of water in every sense. He's made his living on Pro-Wrestling since when he was a kid. That's all he knows. His competitive spirit comes from out-performing people. He has no fucking clue about the crazy heart these guys have to actually compete on a primal level with one another. It's quite apparent he doesn't have that in him. At least not on the same level as the real competitive athletes do.

How will the WWE spin this to reverse the damage control upon his return?

Vince buys out Punk's UFC contract. Punk returns to say it was all a troll job on the UFC and Vince and he were the masterminds. Dana White, as part of the buyout, confronts Vince and Punk on RAW with Conor as his partner. Vince/Punk vs Dana/Conor at WM. BUTTS...IN...SEATS...

That was kind of my point Heretic. Punk losing to a mid tier guy up front, with no experience at all, would have made this whole thing more respected on both sides.

ADR did indeed have a background and got blitzed by a prime CC. It didn't hurt his career so the logic would state that a no background Punk losing to a guy like Burkman or Brown would for sure not hurt Punk's

Cm phil shoulda had his debut against some can a lot sooner. I think this is going to turn out even more embarrassing for him than if he just fought someone. Dude does not have the patience to deal with fools being like "hey punk member that time you were a ufc fighter" for the next 25 years

With bryan retired and punk been gone we have a chance to move away from the neckbeard era . I seriously hope vince does not resign that guy in the near future

It's starting a little already.he seems dead set on fighting on UFC 200, because "It just makes more sense for me to debut at this big show".

I can see it now:
"Why, when you have a name as big as mine making his debut, wouldn't you debut him at the biggest show they've put on in years?!"
"They said they were going to go with someone with similar experience, and here's this fucking guy, brown belt in Jiu Jitsu, Golden Gloves boxing champion, amateur experience... records don't tell the whole story!"
"Yeah, I was paid well for the fight itself, didn't get much PPV bonus, but I'm sure they lowballed me on it, and told me it was less than it really was, he's a fight promoter, I understand the game. And I didn't get ANY sponsor money because of the Reebok deal"
"I was actually providing jobs for people, so I should have been shown a little more grattitude"
"And as soon as the fight was over, I'm in the locker room, and Dana walks up to me, and starts telling me that he has another fight lined up... I'm like 'Motherfucker! Can I at least take my gloves off first before you tell me that you have another fight for me?!'

Although, does anybody else see the delicious irony of Punk leaving one company that won't allow him to wear fight shorts with sponsors on, and gone to a different company that won't allow him to wear fight shorts with sponsors on?

Better run???

Punk in the UFC or Bryan as World or IC champ after the last two WMs???

Yea that fact was not lost on me.

Pretty sure Vince is just jealous because he never won Father of the Year, even after trying to sacrifice his daughter to satan.

I dunno Struggle...

Punk's run in the UFC has lasted almost 2 years and he hasn't done anything. Pretty impressive

I saw the vince titus video

Titus grabbed vince so hard that he did a 180

suspension is legit imo

A 90-day suspension for Titus is harsh? You're on the lower totem pole and your dumb ass hasn't got a better idea than to grab the boss in a "playful" manner after one of the most emotional moments of Raw, all while the TV cameras catch the whole thing.

His sorry ass should be more grateful than Daniel Bryan that they didn't fire him on the spot.
