PWD 265: In Mickey Gall We Trust

I really dont get why people dont like the big guy ... Hes awesome

Bolded the reason.

Also, Punk did him REALLY dirty, so now he's been tarred with the brush that has come from someone who exaggerates stuff, and even outright lies. But he has Fedormentalist level worshippers.

Alright, at this point what's worse for Punk:
1- Fights and loses in embarrasing fashion.
2- Never even fights and the whole thing becomes a farce.
I dont think either one is bad for him
The fans that love him will still love him and the fans that hate him will still hate him
Its a push either way

I havent been able to understand the hatred for dudes who look like they work out thats been growing over the years either. I know being jacked and punk have both fueled the neckbard hate ryback gets . Those people are allowing themselves to be blinded and miss a good guy.

I dunno about that, I've seen a fair few comments where people are getting sick of him, especially that bitch fit he threw last week.

Vegas should get in on this. What's Punk's next excuse?

Complications From Back Surgery: 3-1

Knee Surgery: 6-1

Post Concussion Syndrome From Time Spent In WWE: 10-1

Because there are three kinds of babyfaces, Aspirational, Inspirational and Relatable

The problem is, in modern times, the "Aspirational" guys fall by the wayside, because, instead of seeing this huge, superhero looking motherfucker, people scoff and say "Pffft, he's just a big, jacked up muscle guy, he's not like me!"

Ryback is that guy. They don't think "That guy works his ass off in the gym, I want to be like that guy", it's "He's not exactly like me, so why would I care?!"

I said a while back, Roman Reigns is too cool for this era to get over as a babyface.

I'm gonna go long shot, Rehab for Painkiller addiction after back surgery.

Oh' C'mon, people don't(or didn't) like Ryback because they smelled the forced Goldberg clone a mile away.

If they didn't like Ryback because he's a muscle head, then nobody would like Brock either. It's got nothing to do with Punk, or anything else. He's just another guy with "the look" that Vince tried to shove down our throats. Fans tend to resent being told who to like. If the appreciation for a wrestler doesn't come naturally, it won't work.

That said, I don't think anyone really hates Ryback these days.

I dunno about that, he was over as fuck when he first hit the scene. To the point of Cena pitching the idea to turn him heel, which just cut the legs out from underneath him.

I like you smigg you speak truth . I dont think your wrong about either guy.

Neither goldber or ryback is the forst dude to debut kicking everyons ass . The goldberg chant was like the husky harris chant smarks in the crowd trying to go over by being snarky. OMGZ hes got no hairz and muscles he wants to be goldberg lets tell this dude he suxors cuz it will make us so kewl.

The ryback hate has ceased now hes driftless in the midcard just lot a lot of other good dudes and it frustrates me a bit

Dude, people were chanting "Goldberg" at him since his debut. He was not "over as fuck", he was getting "pushed like fuck", which is where the resentment(if there was any) started to set in. He was pushed too soon.

But again though, I don't really see the "hate" for Ryback. The fans just kind of treated him like whatever, and liked his catch-phrase. I don't see where anyone is getting this "Neckbeards ruined Ryback" shit from. Seems like quite a reach.

My favorite Big Guy

I didnt like bully Ryback . Im a face kinda guy. That said it did make me laugh . Ive enjoyed most of what rybacks done so far cept being a jobber with perfects kid. I think hes really progressed in his ring work and wish he would catch some sorta feud for mania

Neckbeards ruined Ryback" shit

That thought comes from the fact that the second the guy stepped onto the scene the tea party section of the audience just tore into the guy. He also wasnt shoved down our throats so much as he stepped up during an injury bug imo
