yessir. it might not be in the original edition, but the standard(?) edition these days has a narrated intro of interlinking the greek story to the warrior's story.

according to that^^, it's the "ultimate director's cut," which reads familiarly

Ok, that explains it. I don't think I've seen that version. Any other differences from the original?

I'm curious on a psychological level why they are so popular. Initial feeling is it has something to do with being "America's team". They are hated a lot too, though. The niners are pretty popular too, they usually have a pretty strong fan presence on many road games but they ain't pulling in the money the Cowboys are.
If we've said it once then we've said it a thousand times but the look matters! For a shoot, I think a big part of it is as simple as a cool name, color and logo. That star was symbol of greatness for decades. Instantly recognizable. That specific shade of blue is also unique to them and it looks good on TV.

Texas has a huge part to do with it, nothing says Texas better than the Dallas Cowboys and theres nothing a lot of folks love better than the thought of Texas, theyre hard working blue collar tough guys, theyre country music, theyre big ass trucks and pretty blonde women, oil men in nice suits and cowboy boots, a cold beer and a hot fight on a Saturday night, that Texas stereotype imagery plays a big part in why theyre so attractive to the psyche of America

@Pliny Pete Ya boi was on the Breakfast Club in case you didn't know

This is another show i never listen to cause I dont dig the whole New York hip hop swag vibe, I hate the way they talk!, but I may give this one a shot, Shyne is one charismatic storyteller, Rex, no doubt about it, I could listen to him read the phone book

Is Shyne replacing The Rock as my new mimbo?

@Based God this George Knapp show is frickin great, Im up to episode 4 and it just keeps getting better, they go deep into the UFO attacks in Brazil which is scary as heck and dig deeper into that creepy ass Jellyfish UFO in Iraq

Now theyre starting to dig into this new storyline about all the orbs people are seeing everyone that are connected to the giant underwater bases

Oh, this is good stuff!

@My Spot the '87 Crockett Cup had such random pairings, I never realized how terrible it was til right now, hella mish mash ass teams just thrown together in 5 minutes

Arn Anderson & Kevin Sullivan
Bill Dundee & Barbarian
Tim Horner & Mike Rotundo
Lazor Tron & Jimmy Valiant
Wahoo McDaniel & Baron Von Raschke
Italian Stallion & Ricky Gibson
Steve Keirn & George South
Bobby Jaggers & Rocky King

@RollSonnenRoll Jelly Roll is playing the SF Giants ballpark in July, FUCK YES!!!!!!

Absoutley, it adds to the aura. I remember on the World Class Journey on Lapsed Fan they would talk about how being in Dallas adds such a layer to the Von Erich tragedy, as if Texas was a character itself in the story. If this whole thing takes place in Portland, it's not as interesting but you can't really explain why lol.

@Based God @deezy Saafir died this morning, most of you people wont know the name, he was a rapper from Oakland that was part of the extended Souls Of Mischief crowd, but may remember him as Caine's cousin Harold that gets his head blown off when they get carjacked in Menace II Society

Yea, theres a mystique about Texas thats deeply embedded in Americana

More so, Dallas

Not so much, El Paso

<lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao>

Damn. A stadium tour with Post Malone. Who would have thought?!

I dont care about that Post Malone dude but I know he's hot with the kids, this show will prolly be massive

I never heard none of his music but I did just read that he put out a country album that was a bestseller earlier this year, maybe I'll give it a spin

I bet theres a lotta miserable ole shitkickers setting around being miserable at all these pop stars and rappers that have suddenly invaded their beloved genre of music and are now most likely destroying it in their eyes LoL

Thats payback for Eminem, you sons a bitches!!

I’ve heard it’s good too but I still think it might be a rib just to prove that country fans will buy anything if you package it right.

I don’t know if you’ve seen all the Zach Bryan controversy but evidently his ex is making all the podcast rounds and basically saying what a piece of shit he is. All the young kids are coming to grips that the guy who just sings about being a depressed alcoholic is actually a depressed alcoholic! So they might be flooding the Post Malone band wagon now
