PWD 1191: November to Remember

yessir. it might not be in the original edition, but the standard(?) edition these days has a narrated intro of interlinking the greek story to the warrior's story.

according to that^^, it's the "ultimate director's cut," which reads familiarly

Ok, that explains it. I don't think I've seen that version. Any other differences from the original?

I'm curious on a psychological level why they are so popular. Initial feeling is it has something to do with being "America's team". They are hated a lot too, though. The niners are pretty popular too, they usually have a pretty strong fan presence on many road games but they ain't pulling in the money the Cowboys are.
If we've said it once then we've said it a thousand times but the look matters! For a shoot, I think a big part of it is as simple as a cool name, color and logo. That star was symbol of greatness for decades. Instantly recognizable. That specific shade of blue is also unique to them and it looks good on TV.

Texas has a huge part to do with it, nothing says Texas better than the Dallas Cowboys and theres nothing a lot of folks love better than the thought of Texas, theyre hard working blue collar tough guys, theyre country music, theyre big ass trucks and pretty blonde women, oil men in nice suits and cowboy boots, a cold beer and a hot fight on a Saturday night, that Texas stereotype imagery plays a big part in why theyre so attractive to the psyche of America

@Pliny Pete You are walking Roxie and you see this. What do you do?

We got a turkey gang in my town, theyre famous, been here as long as I can remember, they love strolling through parking lots and jumping all over peoples cars like an angry woman that just got cheated on

@Pliny Pete Ya boi was on the Breakfast Club in case you didn't know

This is another show i never listen to cause I dont dig the whole New York hip hop swag vibe, I hate the way they talk!, but I may give this one a shot, Shyne is one charismatic storyteller, Rex, no doubt about it, I could listen to him read the phone book

Is Shyne replacing The Rock as my new mimbo?

@Based God this George Knapp show is frickin great, Im up to episode 4 and it just keeps getting better, they go deep into the UFO attacks in Brazil which is scary as heck and dig deeper into that creepy ass Jellyfish UFO in Iraq

Now theyre starting to dig into this new storyline about all the orbs people are seeing everyone that are connected to the giant underwater bases

Oh, this is good stuff!
