Prediction: Jones exposes Aspinall into a new Weidman

But expert Dr. Joe Rogan said he was unbeatable.

Yeah. It truly was the Machida era for a total of 0 fights. Theres no denying Karate instilled his lazer sharp punches. But he could have thrown a more powerful variation of that punch with boxing and aged in the sport with some grace.. The strikers who came after him like Weidman, Rockhold, Bensin weren't afraid of that.

If Jones wins, would be saltier than the Dead Sea lol. If the war gods have a bad ass whooping in store for Jones, he’d act like Coner inside the cage and Rampage after the Forest fight.

Thats exactly what they said about Gane

Heres to hoping the fight happens and you're not one of the folk who discredit Tom if he loses

"They" said it.

Always so convenient to just use that vague "they" to try to pretend it's all the same people offering analysis on fighters.

"Some people said Gane would beat Jones and they were wrong. Now some people are saying Aspinall will beat Jones but because the previous people were wrong, obviously Jones can't lose this fight either!"

Superb logic LMAO.

Its going to be oh so enjoyable when Jon drags Tom to the 3rd round and Tom looks like a scared fish out of water with bad veneers, and Jon is just touching and beating up his legs with kicks.

Toms speed advantage will start to subside once he feels that big strong American wrestling wear on him and his cardio that has never been tested will be exposed. Jon really doesn’t like Tom so i think he will take his time butchering the British lad on the ground. 4th round mercy stoppage by Mario Yamasaki

If it's the Jones we saw vs Stipe, your confidence in him is pretty fucking curious. Jon looked stuck in mud after rd 1, and that round was him beating Stipe up on the mat. Luckily for Jon, Stipe looked even slower (combination of age and wear plus getting his ass kicked for a round). I was stunned seeing Stipe land as much as he did given he looked like a zombie. He didn't have anything on the punches, but he was hitting Jon way too often and clean.

I'm not sure if it's age and that Jones maybe just looks like this at HW? I'm sure he doesn't want to cut to 205 anymore, but this version is a far cry from the killer I watched run through that division for a decade plus. Maybe Jones take Tom more seriously and comes in more crisp or...IDK. If the version shows up that fought Stipe...don't like Jon's chances much.

Nah, not something as vapidly binary as X will win and Y will lose.

Specifically the funny narratives shared, in the predictions.

Funny try though

I’m a big fan of Tom and do not like Jones (as a person). But at the end of the day it’s not about who wins, the simple thing is the champ fight the interim champ. End of story.

Also the word ‘expose’ suggests Tom is getting unwarranted hype which he is not. He has beaten and finished everyone put in front of him in impressive fashion. Not much else he can do.

"Narratives" is nothing more than your copout to blindly paint Aspinall and Gane with the same brush. I'm sure you've done a scientific poll to check the overlap of those making these predictions, right? No? Yeah, so it's exactly what I said.

"blindly paint Aspinall and Gane with the same brush."

You are confused little fella or mixing up posts. never did that.

Nah sport, I think the gist of what you were trying to convey was pretty apparent. Your post first used the always relevant "they" to imply those who thought Gane would beat Jones are the same that think Tom will. Then when pressed, it was "the narrative"...another generic copout since you have no clue what the overlap is.

But it's all good slugger, carry on. I won't pick on you anymore.

LMA)!!!

Nah little buckaroo

What you typed is even less relevant to my initial post.

You are clearly very confused, conflating posts, attempting to project something that wasn't typed or simply didnt comprehend my post

Which is ALL good. Cheers

Backtracking 101 by you here, son. The words are right there for anyone to read. Not really sure what you think you're accomplishing by denying it now, but I guess it's what kids do. You'll have better days.

just playing the devil's advocate: att the narrative was indeed that Gane had chances, but everyone knows how media work, they have to sell the fight.

You can ALWAYS find people that drive a "narrative". Of course some believed Gane had a good chance. Hell, I wasn't a huge Gane believer but I thought he had a chance based on all the unknowns with Jones (layoff, first fight at HW, etc). But that's different than using that and making the leap that "this will sound the same when Jones wins". We've got 2 Jones fights at HW to judge him on, Aspinall has a totally different skillset than Gane, etc.

No again little buckaroo.

Like I said you are clearly confused

I stand by what I typed, which evidently confused you, causing you to project some irrelevant, in-congruent gibberish.

Guess "thats what the kids are doing these days"

The Weidman hate around here is truly something else. We get it. He embarrassed Anderson twice. How dare he.

Haha boy you've got some spunk don't ya, kiddo! Nobody's confused, you've just got yourself a little stubborn streak. There's worse things, but admitting when you're wrong is a good step toward the maturity you clearly need.

Not to be grammar police, but since I'm educating you anyway...incongruent doesn't need to be hyphenated.

I'm doing my best to help you here, but you need to be open to it. Nobody will be able to if you dig your heels in and pout. Be better!
